INDY Team #8 (3-1) vs. Gogo (2-1) – Thursday, February 28, 2019

INDY Team #8 put on a show on both sides of the pitch against Gogo with a final score of 2-0. This is the second week in a row INDY Team #8 took home the win. Geoff Hardy and Kyle Bryant each kicked one goal.  The defenders did a great job in this game by helping Eric Bryant earn a clean sheet in goal. This is Gogo’s first loss of the season. Next up for INDY Team #8 is a battle against Kelly Blue Book’s 2009 Minivan of the Year (3-1-0).   Cheeky Monkey (2-1-1) is next up on the schedule for Gogo, as they attempt to bounce back.

 

Thresholds Thunder (2-1-1) vs. Loose Balls (0-2-1) – Thursday, February 28, 2019

Thresholds Thunder and Loose Balls were really well-matched in this one and ended knotted up at 1-1. First a shout-out goes to Efren of Thresholds Thunder who now has the most goals in the league with 5 goals.  Efren scored the team’s only goal, keeping their team on the board.  Exiting week 4, Thresholds Thunder will look ahead to Chicago Handshakes (2-1-1) who are next on the schedule. This is Loose Balls’s first tie this season.  Megan Saafir was the star player for Loose Balls this week scoring the only goal for her team.  For Loose Balls next, they take on INDY Team #7 (1-3-0).

 

INDY Team #7 (1-3) vs. S.T.V.G FC (0-4) – Thursday, February 28, 2019

The win for INDY Team #7 was earned without a drop of sweat since S.T.V.G FC forfeited.  The forfeit puts S.T.V.G FC in 10th place in the standings table. Next up for INDY Team #7 is a match-up against Loose Balls (0-2-1).   Next week, S.T.V.G FC will attempt to get off the schneid with a match-up against Oprah’s Book Club (2-2-0).

 

Oprah’s Book Club (2-2) vs. Cheeky Monkey (2-1-1) – Thursday, February 28, 2019

Oprah’s Book Club and Cheeky Monkey competed in a Game where the defenses dominated, totaling three goals. Oprah’s Book Club took home the 2-1 victory. Oprah’s Book Club really brought their A game in this game, surpassing their average of 1.8 goals per game.  Rafael Gutierrez and Emily Kratz each fired one goal to help get the team the W.  This is Cheeky Monkey’s first loss of the season.  James Larew scored the only goal for Cheeky Monkey to get their team on the board.  Next up for Oprah’s Book Club is a pairing against S.T.V.G FC (0-4-0).   Gogo (2-1-0) is next up on the schedule for Cheeky Monkey, as they look to get back into the winner’s circle.

 

Kelly Blue Book’s 2009 Minivan of the Year (3-1) vs. Chicago Handshakes (2-1-1) – Thursday, February 28, 2019

Kelly Blue Book’s 2009 Minivan of the Year and Chicago Handshakes had a defensive battle, with a combined score of three goals.  Kelly Blue Book’s 2009 Minivan of the Year took home the 2-1 victory. Kelly Blue Book’s 2009 Minivan of the Year really buckled down in this one, prevailing, despite scoring less than their avg. goals per game of 2.3.  Phil Troscinski and Lukas Keapproth each kicked one goal to help gain the crew the win.  INDY Team #8 (3-1-0) are next up on the docket for Kelly Blue Book’s 2009 Minivan of the Year, as they look to keep it going.  This is Chicago Handshakes’s first loss of the season. William Meadows scored the only goal for Chicago Handshakes to prevent the shutout.  Next up for Chicago Handshakes is a match-up against Thresholds Thunder (2-1-1), as they attempt to bounce back.
