Oprah’s Book Club (1-1) vs. Thresholds Thunder (1-1) – Thursday, February 14, 2019
Oprah’s Book Club and Thresholds Thunder were very evenly matched in this contest up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. Thresholds Thunder really didn’t have their best stuff on the offensive end in this one, scoring fewer than their total from their opening game. The losing team still had notable players including Efren and Jorge, who put in one goal each for Thresholds Thunder. Oprah’s Book Club really stepped up in this game, beating their opening game point total. Abbi Howell, Rafael Gutierrez, and Joe kicked one goal each to steer the club’s attack. For Thresholds Thunder they will have a match-up against INDY Team #7 (0-2-0) as they look to get to the win column. For Oprah’s Book Club, each contest is a big opportunity to get in a groove from the jump. Next up is a throwdown against Chicago Handshakes (1-0-1).

Cheeky Monkey played amazing in this shut out against INDY Team #7 with a final score of 6-0. INDY Team #7 really struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this one, scoring fewer than their total from their Week 1 game. As for INDY Team #7 next on the schedule is Thresholds Thunder (1-1-0) as they attempt to get into the win column. Cheeky Monkey brought their A game in this one, beating their first game point total. Cheeky Monkey’s goalkeeper Nad deserves much of the credit after earning a shutout. Kevin Sommers and Mark Araci both lasered in two goals to steer the club’s offense. For Cheeky Monkey, next up is a match-up against Kelly Blue Book’s 2009 Minivan of the Year (2-0-0), as they look for another win early on this season.

Chicago Handshakes (1-0-1) vs. INDY Team #8 (1-1) – Thursday, February 14, 2019
