Winter 2019 Sunday CIBC Fire Pitch Flag Football – Week 5

Drip 4 Sale (4-0-1) v. VicTorious Secret (1-4) – Sunday, March 10, and 2019

Grabbing the same result as they did earlier in the year, Drip 4 Sale won the rematch between these two groups.  The final score of 42-32 reflects the hard work Drip 4 Sale put into every minute of the game. QB Dorian Hayes delivered four TDs, passing to Zavion Neely and Brandon Parker each for two of them and scampered in one on his own.  VicTorious Secret really were unable to get rolling in this game, scoring less than their average of 44.40 points per game this season.  During the loss for VicTorious Secret, QB Joe Gill hit Michelle Chapman and Dj Reynolds each for two touchdowns while Shelby Marks caught one.  Next Sunday, Drip 4 Sale face off against Henny Gang (2-2-1) in an attempt to remain undefeated.   Next up for VicTorious Secret is a match-up versus Bless’ Em (1-2-2), as they attempt to rebound.

Henny Gang (2-2-1) v. Bless’ Em (1-2-2) – Sunday, March 10, and 2019

Henny Gang and Bless’ Em were very well-matched in this one and finished tied up at 30-30.  For Henny Gang, QB Jamel Banks delivered two touchdowns, hitting Kamaria Beckley and Quincy each for one TD and scampered in two on his own.  Bless’ Em really didn’t have their best stuff in this one, scoring less than their average of 35.60 ppg this year.  For Bless’ Em, QB Devante Williams hit Tuck Tucker and Jerita Gordon each for one touchdown.  Tuck Tucker also rushed in two scores as well.  Exiting week 5, Henny Gang looks ahead to Drip 4 Sale (4-0-1) who are next on the docket.  For Bless’ Em next they take on VicTorious Secret (1-4-0).
