Hungry Hungry Suarez (7-0) vs. Scrambled Legs (4-3-1) – Sunday, March 31, 2019

It was an exciting Semi-Final games, in which the #1 seed, Hungry Hungry Suarez, squeaked by with a 1-point win against the #3 seed, Scrambled Legs with a final score of 3-2.  In spite of the loss, Scrambled Legs has been doing great on offense, with a total of 22 goals.  Daniel Landon was the star player for Scrambled Legs this week. They scored all two goals for their team. They dominated in the regular season, and it’s no surprise Hungry Hungry Suarez advanced to the Championship game. Bird’s Nest (5-1-2) vs. Good Vibes Only (5-4) – Sunday, March 31, 2019

Bird’s Nest, the #2 seed, took on Good Vibes Only, the #4 seed, in this Semi-Final game. The last time these two teams met in week 4, Bird’s Nest won 5-2.  This time around, the results weren’t much different with a final score of 4-0.  The semi-final win for Bird’s Nest advanced them to the championship game.  Read the Championship recap below to see how they finished.  Good Vibes Only is done for the season and we hope to see them return for the start of the new league coming up soon.

It was a Championship Game written for the movies. Could the #2 seeded team, Bird’s Nest outplay the #1 seeded team, Hungry Hungry Suarez? In this game, yes they could! This was one of two games for Hungry Hungry Suarez this week. Sometimes double headers help you get in a groove, other times they lead to tired legs, but at least the loss didn’t ding their standings too bad as they still sit at the top of the table in 1st place.  Hungry Hungry Suarez still had notable players including Kevin , who netted two goals for Hungry Hungry Suarez.  Hungry Hungry Suarez came so close to the championship title. They’re not an easy team to beat and looking ahead to next season, they are definitely a team that will be at the top of the standings table.  Congratulations to Bird’s Nest on a great season and their championship win! We hope to see this squad return to defend their title.
