Winter 2019 Saturday CIBC Fire Pitch Coed Soccer – Week 4

Team America (3-0) vs. Cat Facts FC (1-3-1) – Saturday, March 02, 2019

Team America absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against Cat Facts FC with a final score of 5-0. This was one of two games for Cat Facts FC this week.  Next up for Cat Facts FC is a match-up versus Squad Goals (2-2-1), as they attempt to bounce back. Team America is on fire, Michael scored two goals to steer the team’s offense while Allison, Kaitlan, and Amir each added one.  The club’s goalkeeper, Nick played very well in the shutout.  Next Saturday, Team America will try to remain undefeated with a contest versus Excelarators (1-1-2).

 

Jimmy Savile’s U10s (4-0) vs. Cat Facts FC (1-3-1) – Saturday, March 02, 2019

In this match, Jimmy Savile’s U10s beat Cat Facts FC 4-2.  Jimmy Savile’s U10s are playing an amazing offensive season. They’re averaging 5 goals per game. Michael Farmer netted two goals to spearhead the squad’s offense while Tara D’Agostino and Chris S each added one.  Jimmy Savile’s U10s will try to remain perfect on Saturday with a Game against Post-Indy (1-3-0).  Cat Facts FC still had notable players including Sarrah Ludwig and Kevin Rademaker who each accounted for one goal for Cat Facts FC.  Squad Goals (2-2-1) is next up on the docket for Cat Facts FC, as they look to get back on track.

 

Chicago Cougars (2-1-1) vs. Turtle Shells (0-2-2) – Saturday, March 02, 2019

Chicago Cougars beat Turtle Shells 4-1 in this game.  Turtle Shells didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their average of 1.8 GPG for the season.  Andy Schmits scored the only goal for Turtle Shells to save them from a shutout.  Chicago Cougars are heating up with two wins in a row.  Huralt netted two goals to spearhead the club’s attack while Anna and Mive each netted one.  Next Saturday, Turtle Shells faces off against CTAX F.C. (0-2-1) in an attempt to get their first win.  Next up for Chicago Cougars is a showdown against CTAX F.C. (0-2-1).

 

Excelarators (1-1-2) vs. CTAX F.C. (0-2-1) – Saturday, March 02, 2019

Excelarators and CTAX F.C. were evenly matched this week with a final score of 3-3.  This is CTAX F.C.’s first tie this season and it was their best offensive performance yet.  In the tie, Peter Kang, David Gimpel, and Hugo Gasca each kicked one goal for CTAX F.C.  Multiple players scored goals for Excelarators in this game, including Brooke Hugdahl, Ben Terdich, and Christina Matei each netting one gaol.  For CTAX F.C. they will face off with Turtle Shells (0-2-2).  Exiting week 4, Excelarators will look ahead to the undefeated Team America (3-0-0) who are next on the docket.

 

Squad Goals (2-2-1) vs. Post-Indy (1-3) – Saturday, March 02, 2019

In this match, Squad Goals beat Post-Indy 5-1. Post-Indy were unable to get rolling on offense in this one, scoring less than their average of 1.8 goals per game this season. Chris Reed scored the only goal for Post-Indy to prevent the shutout.  The undefeated Jimmy Savile’s U10s (4-0-0) are next up on the calendar for Post-Indy, as they look to rebound.  Daniel Schmoll of Squad Goals is MVP with a hat trick in the contest and now leads the league with a whopping 6 goals!  Cat Facts FC (1-3-1) are next up on the docket for Squad Goals, as they look to keep it going.
