Jimmy Savile’s U10s (5-0) vs. Post-Indy (1-4) – Saturday, March 09, 2019

In this match, Jimmy Savile’s U10s beat Post-Indy 9-1.  Post-Indy struggled to get it going on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their average of 1.6 goals per game for the season.  Bryan Silverman scored the only goal for Post-Indy to get their team on the board and to avoid the shutout.  The undefeated Team America (4-0-0) is next up on the schedule for Post-Indy, as they look to get back into the winner’s circle.  Jimmy Savile’s U10s are having a fantastic offensive season.  They’re averaging 6 goals per game. Chris Cogbill and Chris S each scored a hat trick while Kelsey Burris added two goals and Willie added one to help earn the team the victory.  On Saturday, Jimmy Savile’s U10s battles against Chicago Cougars (2-1-2) in an attempt to remain perfect.

 

Turtle Shells (1-2-2) vs. CTAX F.C. (0-3-2) – Saturday, March 09, 2019

Both teams entered this match looking for their first win of the season. With a final score of 3-1, Turtle Shells emerged with a win against CTAX F.C.  Brynne Frau scored the only goal for CTAX F.C. to save them from a shutout.  Next week, CTAX F.C. faces off against Cat Facts FC (2-3-1) in an attempt to break their winless streak.   Turtle Shells really showed up in this game, beating their average of 2.0 goals per game.   Christine Pittel, Ben Walter, and Nicole each accounted for one goal to provide some scoring. Next up for Turtle Shells is a match-up versus Team America (4-0-0).

 

Chicago Cougars (2-1-2) vs. CTAX F.C. (0-3-2) – Saturday, March 09, 2019

Chicago Cougars and CTAX F.C. were very well-matched in this Game and ended all tied up at 2-2.  In the tie, Peter Kang and Hugo Gasca each scored one goal for CTAX F.C..   For CTAX F.C. they will face off with Cat Facts FC (2-3-1).  David Baz Cortes and Huralt each netted one goal to help earn the crew the victory. Exiting week 5, Chicago Cougars will look ahead to the undefeated Jimmy Savile’s U10s (5-0-0) who are next on the schedule.

 

Cat Facts FC (2-3-1) vs. Squad Goals (2-3-1) – Saturday, March 09, 2019

Cat Facts FC controlled this game in shut out fashion against Squad Goals with a final score of 3-0.  Cat Facts FC really stepped up in this one, topping their average of 1.7 goals per game.  Kevin Rademaker netted two goals while Taylor Colliau added one.  Shout-out to keeper, Kaleb Wilson, for the shutout! Squad Goals struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this one, and failed to make it onto the scoreboard.  CTAX F.C. (0-3-2) are next up on the calendar for Cat Facts FC, as they look to keep it going.   Excelarators (1-2-2) is next up on the calendar for Squad Goals, as they look to rebound.

 

Team America (4-0) vs. Excelarators (1-2-2) – Saturday, March 09, 2019

Team America beat Excelarators 6-1 in this game. Team America are having an amazing offensive season. They’re averaging 5 goals per game. Michael racked up a hat trick to help gain the team the victory while Allison, Katilan, and Amir each added one goal.  Next Saturday, Team America face off against Post-Indy (1-4-0) in an attempt to stay undefeated.  Excelarators were unable to get rolling in terms of scoring in this game, scoring fewer than their average of 1.6 goals per game for the year.  Jake Marrus scored the only goal for Excelarators to save them from a shutout.  Squad Goals (2-3-1) are next up on the calendar for Excelarators, as they attempt to rebound.
