Winter 2019 Saturday CIBC Coed Soccer – Week 3

Team America (2-0) vs. Squad Goals (1-2-1) – Saturday, February 23, 2019
Team America and Squad Goals participated in a nail-biter up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. Squad Goals really didn’t have their best showing on D in this one, surrendering more goals than their average of 2.3 goals against per game for the season. Squad Goals still had notable players including Daniel Schmoll and Adam who both netted one goal for Squad Goals. Next up for Squad Goals is a battle versus Post-Indy (1-2-0), as they look to rebound. Team America had two games this week. Impressively, they won both matches, which means they’re officially heating up! Allison and Katilan and Matt all scored one goal to Lead their team to victory. Team America will try to remain unblemished next Saturday with a Game against Cat Facts FC (1-0-2).

Team America (2-0) vs. CTAX F.C. (0-2) – Saturday, February 23, 2019
In this match, Team America beat CTAX F.C. 6-2. With this victory they won both games of their double header and enter the league with a with a bang. Michael scored two goals while Allison, Matt, Mark and Amir all contributed one goal to help get the crew the victory. Team America will try to remain perfect on Saturday with a throwdown versus Cat Facts FC (1-0-2). This heartbreaking loss comes when CTAX F.C. scored their personal best of the season. Miwel was the star player for CTAX F.C. this week. Miwel scored the only two goals for CTAX F.C. On Saturday, CTAX F.C. battles against Excelarators (0-1-2) in an attempt to break their winless streak.

Excelarators (1-1-1) vs. Cat Facts FC (1-1-1) – Saturday, February 23, 2019
Earning their first win of the season, Excelarators beat Cat Facts FC 2-1. Excelarators really stepped up, surpassing their average of 1.3 goals per game. Cristina Matei and Mary Adomshick each fired one goal to help get the group the victory. Next up for Excelarators is a throwdown against CTAX F.C. (0-2-0). This is Cat Facts FC’s first loss of the season. Kevin Rademaker scored the only goal for Cat Facts FC to prevent the shut out. Next up for Cat Facts FC is a battle against Team America (2-0-0), as they attempt to rebound.

Chicago Cougars (1-1-1) vs. Post-Indy (1-2) – Saturday, February 23, 2019
Earning their first win of the season, Chicago Cougars beat Post-Indy 6-1. Chicago Cougars really brought their A game in this game, besting their average of 2.3 goals per game. Mive, Canary and Amy all lasered in two goals to help earn the squad the win. Post-Indy really struggled to get it going on offense in this game, scoring fewer than their average of 2.0 goals per game for the season. Next up for Chicago Cougars is a Game against Turtle Shells (0-1-2). Next up for Post-Indy is a battle against Squad Goals (1-2-1), as they attempt to rebound.

Jimmy Savile’s U10s (3-0) vs. Turtle Shells (0-1-2) – Saturday, February 23, 2019
In this match, Jimmy Savile’s U10s beat Turtle Shells 4-2. Currently undefeated, Jimmy Savile’s U10s sit in 1st place in the standings with 3 wins. Willie kicked two goals to help gain the club the victory while Michael Farmer and Mackenzie each netted one goal of their own. This is Turtle Shells’s first loss of the season. Nicole was the star player for Turtle Shells this week. She scored all two goals for their team. Jimmy Savile’s U10s will seek to remain unbeaten next week with a contest against Cat Facts FC (1-0-2). Turtle Shells seeks to get on the board with a win on Saturday against Chicago Cougars (1-1-1).
