Spoons Deux and Game of Throw-Ins (Young) combined for three goals this match. Spoons Deux took home the 2-1 victory. Spoons Deux buckled down in this contest, earning the W, despite scoring less than their average goals per game of 3.0. Cody Debona and Liz each tallied one goal to provide some scoring. This heartbreaking loss comes when Game of Throw-Ins (Young) scored their personal best of the season. Peter Fiflis scored the only goal for Game of Throw-Ins (Young). Team Awesome didn’t have their best stuff in this one, and came short of making it onto the scoreboard. Team Awesome attempts to get off the schneid next week with a match-up versus Game of Throw-Ins (Young) (0-3-0). Currently undefeated, Avocado Discoballs is tied for 1st place in the standings with 3 wins. The team’s goalkeeper John Nguyen played very well in the clean sheet. To lead the club’s attack, Elysha Peele, Brooks Fleming, Allie Shea, and Ben Ritter each kicked one goal. Next week, Avocado Discoballs take on Spoons Deux (2-1-0) in an attempt to stay perfect.
