Spoons Deux controlled this game in shut out fashion against Avocado Discoballs with a final score of 2-0. This is Avocado Discoballs’s first loss of the season. The club’s goalkeeper Brandon H played very well in the shutout. To spearhead the crew’s attack, Cary scored the club’s two goals. Game of Throw-Ins (Young) (0-3-1) vs. Team Awesome (0-3-1) – Monday, February 25, 2019
Game of Throw-Ins (Young) and Team Awesome were very evenly matched in this contest and finished all tied at 1-1. For Game of Throw-Ins (Young), Heidi Kohn lasered in one goal to spearhead the group’s offense. This is Team Awesome’s first tie this season. Caroline Blackwood was the star player for Team Awesome this week. She scored the only goal for them. Exiting week 4, Game of Throw-Ins (Young) looks ahead to MVW FC (2-2-0) who are next on the schedule. For Team Awesome next they take on GT Soccer (0-3-1).

MVW FC (2-2) vs. GT Soccer (0-3-1) – Monday, February 25, 2019
In this match, MVW FC beat GT Soccer 5-1. MVW FC really stepped up, besting their average of 3.3 goals per game. Alison Fendrick netted two goals while Daniel Landon, Robert Hicks, and Christian each added one to help earn the crew the victory. Gt Soccer struggled offensively with Sam J scorring the only goal for GT Soccer to save their team from a shutout. Game of Throw-Ins (Young) (0-3-1) are next up on the schedule for MVW FC, as they look to keep it rolling. Next week, GT Soccer battles against Team Awesome (0-3-1) in an attempt to get on the board with a win.

Game of Throw-In’s (Harry) were incredible on both sides of the pitch against The Gunners with a final score of 4-0. This is The Gunners’s first loss of the season. Avocado Discoballs (3-1-0) are next up on the schedule for The Gunners, as they try to bounce back. First shout-out goes to Ben T of Game of Throw-In’s (Harry) who now leads the league with 10 goals. Their goalie Brian had a spectacular shutout in this one. To help earn the squad the win, Megan Harry and Ben T each netted two goals. Next week, Game of Throw-In’s (Harry) attempt to stay unbeaten with a throwdown against Spoons Deux (3-1-0).
