Uber Freight #1 (2-2-1) vs. INDY Team #6 (0-4-0) – Wednesday, August 19, 2020

As was the case earlier this season, Uber Freight #1 won the rematch against INDY Team #6 on Wednesday night. This thriller finished with a final score of 3-2.  INDY Team #6 really gave it their all on D in this one despite the loss, surrendering less than their average of 4.3 GAPG this season. INDY Team #6 still had notable players during this loss including Joseph Szmadzinski and Jay Gonzalez, who each scored one goal apiece. INDY Team #6 will try to record their first point of the season next Wednesday with a double header on their slate. They’ll first take the field against INDY Team #3 (3-1-1) before stepping right back onto the pitch to take on Formerly In Shape FC (2-3-0). Uber Freight #1 really brought it on D, beating their season goals against average of 2.6 goals per game.  Glen fired in two goals to lead the club’s offense and help the team record their second victory on the season. Next up for Uber Freight #1 is a match-up versus Plant Based Plants (4-0-1) as they look to close out their regular season schedule with back-to-back victories.

 

Plant Based Plants (4-0-1) vs. Goode FC (2-2-1) – Wednesday, August 19, 2020

Sam Viola continued his hot play on Wednesday night, netting his league leading 7th goal of the season and assisting on Plant Based Plants other goal in a 2-0 victory over Goode FC. Plant Based Plants are playing a phenomenal offensive season. They are averaging a league-high 5 goals per game. Justin W also put on a show in net as he helped his squad record their first shutout of the season. Plant Based Plants face off against Uber Freight #1 (2-2-1) coming up on Wednesday night in an attempt to lock up the #1 overall seed heading into the postseason. Goode FC really struggled to get anything going on offense in this contest as they failed to record a single goal for the third consecutive game.  Next up for Goode FC is a match-up against Formerly In Shape FC (2-3-0), as they try to find some answers in attack prior to the postseason starting.

 

INDY Team #3 (3-1-1) vs. Formerly In Shape FC (2-3) – Wednesday, August 19, 2020

INDY Team #3 absolutely dominated this game against Formerly In Shape FC with a final score of 4-0. INDY Team #3 is on fire right now, winning their third consecutive contest.  Four different players were able to get onto the scorer’s sheet for INDY Team #3, including Arturo Vera who fired in his team-leading 4th goal of the season. The club’s goalkeeper, Carlos Paramo, is credited with the clean sheet. Next up for INDY Team #3 is a date against INDY Team #6 (0-4-0) as they look to close out their regular season schedule on a four-game winning streak. Formerly In Shape FC struggled to get anything going in attack during this contest as they failed to score a single goal for the first time all season. Formerly In Shape FC will have two opportunities coming up next week to rebound from this lopsided loss. They will first take the pitch against INDY Team #6 (0-4-0) before turning it right back around and taking on Goode FC (2-2-1).
