Money Team locked up the overall #2 seed in the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT 7v7 Flag Football League with a solid 18-6 victory over River Shannons in Week 6. QB Andrew Hauser was the star of the show in this contest for Money Team as they delivered three TD passes to three different receivers to help their squad secure their fifth win of the season. Money Team will open their postseason campaign coming up on Wednesday night with a showdown against #3 seed Chicago Steelers (4-2) in the Semifinals. Winner of this game will cement their spot in the Championship game coming up on Wednesday, November 4th. River Shannons put up a fight in this contest but came up just short as they could not muster up enough points to keep pace with the second-best defensive unit in the league. QB William Walker connected with Joe Laughlin for their only score in this game. The loss sees River Shannons record dip to 2-4 and will begin their postseason campaign as the overall #4 seed. Da Beers did not have enough available players to field a legal team in Week 6 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT 7v7 Flag Football League and had to take a forfeit loss to Chicago Steelers. The win was the second in a row for Chicago Steelers as they now have some momentum heading into the postseason. The win brings Chicago Steelers record up to 4-2 and will see them begin their postseason campaign as the overall #3 seed. Chicago Steelers will open their postseason campaign coming up on Wednesday night with a showdown against #2 seed Money Team (5-1) in the Semifinals. Winner of this game will cement their spot in the Championship game coming up on Wednesday, November 4th.
