Chicago Steelers were unable to field enough players and forfeited to Grand Theft Auto in Week 4 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League. River Shannons (1-3-0) are next up on the schedule for Grand Theft Auto, as they look to record back-to-back victories for the first time this season. legion of boom (4-0-0) are next up on the schedule for Chicago Steelers, as they look for their third win of the season.

 

River Shannons (1-3) v. Da Beers (0-4) – Wednesday, October 7, and 2020

QB Doug Wagner played lights out as he delivered a three-touchdown performance to lead River Shannons to a 20-8 victory over Da Beers in Week 4 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League. The win was the first of the year for River Shannons. River Shannons really showed up in this one, topping their average of 10.00 ppg. Joe Stapleton snagged two of the TD passes from QB Doug Wagner to help seal this win. Grand Theft Auto (2-2-0) are next up on the calendar for River Shannons, as they look to put together their first winning streak of the season. Even with the L on their record, Da Beers gave everything they had on the offensive end in this one, exceeding their average of 3.50 points per game for the year. In the loss for Da Beers, QB Ghanshyam Patel hit Rajul Patel for their only score of this game. Coming up in Week 5, Da Beers seek to get their first win of the year with a match-up against Money Team (3-1-0).

In a highly anticipated Week 4 match-up in the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football Team, the top two ranked teams in the league, legion of boom and Money Team, as expected played in a close one. legion of boom put 14 on the board and held Money Team to just 7 points. legion of boom really showed some toughness in this game, winning, despite scoring less than their avg. points per game of 28.50. QB Shafiq Said passed one touchdown, which was caught by Osama Alowaid and ran in one on his own to provide the scoring for legion of boom in this crucial victory. Coming up in Week 5, legion of boom takes on Chicago Steelers (2-2-0) in an attempt to remain unblemished. Money Team struggled to get it going on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 16.30 points per game for the season. During the loss for Money Team, QB Andrew Hauser hit Tony Coglianese for their only score in this game.
