Chicago Steelers (2-1) v. River Shannons (0-3) – Wednesday, September 30, and 2020

With a final score of 24-6, Chicago Steelers hope to keep their winning momentum going as they creep towards the playoffs. Chicago Steelers really showed up on defense, beating their season points against average of 10.7 points per game. QB Zach Broujos delivered another three-touchdown performance, finding three different receivers to put this game in the bag. Vin, the leagues leader in receiving touchdowns through the first three weeks, snatched his fourth TD reception of the year for the Chicago Steelers to help seal this victory. Next up for Chicago Steelers is a match-up against Grand Theft Auto (1-2-0) as they look to record back-to-back victories for the first time this season. River Shannons really were unable to get rolling in this game, scoring less than their average of 6.70 points per game for the season. legion of boom only possessed the ball six times in Week 3 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League, yet legion of boom scored six touchdowns and handed Da Beers an embarrassing 42-0 defeat. legion of boom is the highest-scoring team in the league this season, averaging a whopping 33.3 points per game. QB Shafiq Said delivered four passing TDs, passing to Dean Elmosa for two of them while also rushing in one with his legs. legion of boom will look to stay perfect coming up in Week 4 with a Game against Money Team (3-0-0) with first place in the league standings on the line. Da Beers really were unable to get rolling on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their average of 2.00 points per game this year. Da Beers must pick it up on offense if they plan to content as they have one offensive touchdown through their first three games. Coming up in Week 4, Da Beers takes on River Shannons (0-3-0) in an attempt to record their first victory of the season.

 

Money Team (3-0) v. Grand Theft Auto (1-2) – Wednesday, September 30, and 2020

Money Team and Grand Theft Auto took part in a close one in Week 3 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League. By the score of 13-6, Money Team got a crucial win to stay unbeaten. Money Team buckled down in this game, earning the win, despite scoring less than their average points per game of 19.30. QB Jeff Zabrin passed for one touchdown, which was caught by Aaron Melton and rushed for one with his legs. Money Team will attempt to stay unbeaten next week with a showdown against legion of boom (3-0-0) with first place in the league standings on the line. For Grand Theft Auto, QB Jeff Lucas hit Clark Browning for their only score of the game. Unfortunately for QB Jeff Lucas and the rest of the Grand Theft Auto crew, it just was not enough to get past a very determined Money Team.
