3rd and Shlong (5-1) v. Show us your TD’s (1-6) – Wednesday, August 19, and 2020

3rd and Shlong crushed Show us your TD’s on Wednesday night. The final score of 41-12 reflects the hard work 3rd and Shlong put into every minute of this game.  3rd and Shlong really brought it, topping their average of 27 points per game. QB Anthony S delivered six scores, passing to Rachael Lenderman for two of them. The six passing TDs brings his regular season total to 16, good for 3rd overall in the league. Show us your TD’s really were unable to get rolling on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their average of 16.6 ppg for the season. In the loss, QB Daniel Rodriguez hit Tristen Tanner and Izabel Soto for one touchdown apiece. The win for 3rd and Shlong locked in the #2 seed for them and gives them a rematch with #7 Show us your TD’s (1-6) in their quarterfinal’s matchup coming up on Wednesday night. Show us your TD’s would have to shake off this loss quickly as they needed to step right back onto the field and take on Don’t Touchdown There (2-5) in the backend of their double header.

 

Show us your TD’s (1-6) v. Don’t Touchdown There (2-5) – Wednesday, August 19, and 2020

Grabbing the same result as they did earlier in the year, Show us your TD’s won the rematch between these two clubs and rebounded very nicely from their lopsided loss the game before. By the score of 33-27, Show us your TD’s got a hard-fought W.  Show us your TD’s really brought it in this game, exceeding their average of 16.6 points per game. QB Tristen Tanner delivered two TDs, with Brandon Molina on the receiving end of two of them, while also rushing in one on his own. Even with a loss Don’t Touchdown There really gave it their all in this one, exceeding their average of 16.6 ppg this season. For Don’t Touchdown There, in the loss, QB Will Cooper hit Arthur Piszczor for two touchdowns and ran in one other.  The win for Show us your TD’s locked in the overall #7 seed for their squad and they will now need to take on #2 3rd and Shlong (5-1) in their quarterfinal matchup coming up on Wednesday night. The loss for Don’t Touchdown There pushes them down into the #5 seed and will see them take the field against #4 INDY Team #4 (2-4) coming up on Wednesday night in their quarterfinal matchup.  Winner of this game advances into the semifinals and will take on #1 Patomic Bomb (6-1).

 

Patomic Bomb (6-1) v. Chi Town BlitZ (2-5) – Wednesday, August 19, and 2020

Grabbing the same result as they did earlier in the year, Patomic Bomb won the rematch between these two Teams. With a final score of 31-12, Patomic Bomb lock in the overall #1 seed and are now one game closer to the championship title.  Patomic Bomb are the highest-scoring team in the league during the regular season, averaging 32.1 points per game. QB Latoya Jackson delivered two touchdowns on Wednesday night, with Terron Brown on the receiving end of most of them. Chi Town BlitZ were unable to get rolling in this game, scoring less than their average of 22 points per game for the season. In the loss for Chi Town BlitZ, QB Reese Gaines hit Andre Mullings and Whitney McKee for one touchdown apiece. Next up for Patomic Bomb is semifinals matchup against the winner of the #4 INDY Team #4 (2-4) vs. Don’t Touchdown There (2-5) game. The loss drops Chi Town BlitZ into the overall #6 seed and will see them take on #3 Sudden Impact (5-1) in their quarterfinal matchup coming up on Wednesday night.

 

Sudden Impact (5-1) v. INDY Team #4 (2-4) – Wednesday, August 19, and 2020

The final score of 28-12 reflects just how good the Sudden Impact squad is. Sudden Impact really battled hard for this game, prevailing, despite scoring less than their average points per game of 31.3. QB Billy Survillion fired in four touchdowns to four different receivers on Wednesday night. The four passing TDs on Wednesday night brings Billy Survillion’s season total to 23, good for #1 in the league. For INDY Team #4, QB Adam Ayers hit John Koehn for one touchdown but it just wasn’t enough to keep pace with the high scoring Sudden Impact crew. The win locks in Sudden Impact into the #3 seed and will see them take on #6 Chi Town Blitz in their quarterfinal matchup coming up on Wednesday night. The loss for INDY Team #4 drops them into the #4 seed and will see them take on #5 Don’t Touchdown There (2-5) in their quarterfinal matchup coming up on Wednesday night. Winner of this game advances into the semifinals on Wednesday night with a matchup against #1 Patomic Bomb (6-1).
