Tuesday Wells High School Coed REC 7v7 Outdoor Soccer League Recap – Week 3

H-Tizzy (3-0) vs. Unathletico (1-2) – Tuesday, October 6, 2020

H-Tizzy was an absolute offensive force in Week 3 of the Tuesday Wells Coed REC 7v7 Soccer League as H-Tizzy fired shot after shot in a 6-2 thumping of Unathletico. Zachary Harris fired in two goals to guide the group’s attack. Four other players tallied their names onto the scorer’s sheet to help earn their club their second win of the season. H-Tizzy had two games on their schedule in Week 3 and were fired up for a double header. They would immediately step onto the field and take on West Grand United the second game of their double dip. Impressively, they won both matches and increased their total goals scored to 21. More on their second game below. Unathletico really struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this game, scoring fewer than their average of 3.7 goals per game for the year. Luke Hagerty was the star player for Unathletico this week. They scored both of their goals for their team to help keep them in this game. F.C. Rogues (3-0-0) is next up on the calendar for Unathletico coming up in Week 4, as they try to bounce back and record their second win of the season.

 

H-Tizzy (3-0) vs. West Grand United (0-3) – Tuesday, October 6, 2020

In their second match of the evening, H-Tizzy cruised past West Grand United by a final score of 10-3. West Grand United really struggled defensively in this game, allowing more goals than their average of 7.3 GAPG for the season. The losing team still had notable players including Austin Hernandez, who netted two goals for West Grand United. Coming up in Week 4, West Grand United will have two opportunities to record their first point(s) of the season. They will first take the field against INDY Team #3 (1-3-0) before stepping right back onto the pitch to take on the Kenosha Kickers (0-3). H-Tizzy came ready for a double header. They won both matches and increased their total goals scored differential to +15. Zachary Harris once again led the way for H-Tizzy in this contest, this time knocking in a hat trick to help get the club the huge win. Next week, H-Tizzy battles against Pilsen Kidz (3-0-0) in a battle for first place in the league standings. This match should see some real fireworks as these are the two highest scoring teams in the league through the first three weeks of the season.

 

Pilsen Kidz (3-0) vs. INDY Team #3 (1-3) – Tuesday, October 6, 2020

The highest scoring team in the league through the first three weeks of the season, Pilsen Kidz, was clicking on all cylinders once again in Week 3 of the Tuesday Wells TURF Coed REC 7v7 Soccer League. In this match, Pilsen Kidz thumped INDY Team #3 by a final score of 11-2. Currently undefeated, Pilsen Kidz currently sit tied for 1st place in the standings with 3 wins. Sergio Noriega found his sweet spot and tallied 5 goals to guide the team’s attack. Erik Noriega also contributed to the team’s final score, knocking in four goals of his own. Next week, Pilsen Kidz face off against H-Tizzy (3-0-0) in an attempt to remain unbeaten with first place in the league standings on the line. INDY Team #3 really were unable to stop much in this game, surrendering more goals than their average of 5.0 goals against per game this season. The losing team still had notable players including Eoin Kirwan and Justin Vorndran, who each kicked in one goal for INDY Team #3. Next up for INDY Team #3 is a showdown against West Grand United (0-3-0), as they look to rebound from this lopsided defeat.

 

F.C. Rogues (3-0) vs. Kenosha Kickers (0-3) – Tuesday, October 6, 2020

Norman Astudillo recorded a brace, Emmie Galan and Aldo Villegas each knocked in a goal, and F.C. Rogues recorded a solid 4-2 win over Kenosha Kickers in Week 3 of the Tuesday Wells TURF Coed REC 7v7 Soccer League to remain unbeaten. Winning all their games so far this season, F.C. Rogues seem to be the team to try to beat. Coming up in Week 4, F.C. Rogues faces off against Unathletico (1-2-0) in an attempt to stay undefeated. Kenosha Kickers gave everything they had on D despite the loss, allowing fewer than their average of 5.3 goals against per game this year. The losing team still had notable players including Joey Betland and Steven Pelrine, who scored one goal apiece for Kenosha Kickers to help keep their squad in this game. Unfortunately, it just was not enough to get past a very determined F.C. Rogues crew. Coming up in Week 4, Kenosha Kickers will seek to record their first point(s) of the season with a match-up against a winless West Grand United (0-3-0) squad.
