INDY Team #1 forfeited and handed a free win to Rooney’s Angels in Week 6 of the Tuesday Hawthorne TURF Coed INT 8v8 Soccer League as INDY Team #1 could not field enough starters to play a legal game. Kim Jerantowski of Rooney’s Angels wins the leagues Golden Boot award during the regular season as they lead the league with a whopping 11 total goals! This Week 6 victory locks Rooney’s Angels into the overall #1 seed for the upcoming postseason tournament. They will begin their playoff journey coming up on Tuesday night with a match-up against #4 seed Ten Forty Six Kicks (0-6-0) in the Semifinals. Winner of this match will compete in the league Championship game for their shot at the league title. With this Week 6 loss for INDY Team #1, they will now begin their postseason campaign coming up on Tuesday night in the Semifinals with a pairing against #2 seed Daddy FC (5-1-0).
