Patomic Bomb (6-0) v. No As Club (2-4) – Thursday, October 15, and 2020
Although the Thursday Lincoln Park Coed REC 8v8 Flag Football League has had close matchups all season long, the first placed Patomic Bomb crew dominated No As Club 45-6 in Week 5. The final score of 45-6 reflects the hard work Patomic Bomb put into every minute of the game. Patomic Bomb really stepped up on the defensive end in this game, beating their season points against average of 10.5 points per game. QB Vincent Ngo delivered six total TDs, connecting with Arthur Augustynski for three of them and scampered for one with his legs. Savages really brought their A game on defense in this game, beating their season points against average of 12.5 ppg. It was the first shutout that Savages have pitched this season. Savages tallied three Defensive TDs in this contest, two of which were returned to the house by Deshon Conley. Andre Veasley came up with a huge Defensive TD for Big Pick Energy to help secure the win for their squad. Coming up in Week 6, Big Pick Energy will take the field against KaBoom! (4-1) in a crucial matchup that will have plenty of implications on playoff seeding. Ballz Deep really struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their average of 18.20 ppg for the year.
