Thursday Lincoln Park GRASS Coed REC 8v8 Flag Football – Week 4 Recap

Patomic Bomb (4-0) v. Balls & Dolls (1-3) – Thursday, October 8, and 2020

After a humbling performance back in Week 2 against Savages, Patomic Bomb’s defense has taken out its frustration on two straight opponents, including a 50-0 shutout of Balls & Dolls in Week 4 of the Thursday Lincoln Park Coed REC 8v8 Flag Football League. Patomic Bombs defense played with good urgency, made things happen and got off the field on third downs, put Balls & Dolls behind the sticks most of the night, controlled the line of scrimmage and were really aggressive in their coverage. Patomic Bomb really stepped up offensively in this game as well, topping their average of 38.50 ppg. The leagues leader in total TDs, QB Clayton Sanger threw five more scores, finding Vincent Ngo for two of them. Coming up in Week 5, Patomic Bomb face off against Girl Play (0-3-0) in an attempt to remain unbeaten. Balls & Dolls struggled to get it going on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 11.80 points per game this season. In fact, this was the first time all season that Balls & Dolls failed to record a single point. Savages (3-2-0) are next up on the calendar for Balls & Dolls coming up in Week 5, as they look to rebound from this lopsided defeat.

 

Big Pick Energy (3-1) v. No As Club (2-3) – Thursday, October 8, and 2020

Big Pick Energy and No As Club played a quality football game in Week 4 of the Thursday Lincoln Park Coed REC 8v8 Flag Football Game. With a final score of 27-26, Big Pick Energy have their eyes on the coveted championship shirts. This team really buckled down in this game, prevailing despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 21.5 points per game. QB Carly Callans threw two TD passes, bring their total Passing TDs for the year up to six. AJ also stepped up for Big Pick Energy in this contest as they caught one TD pass and recorded a Defensive TD to help secure the huge Week 4 victory. Next up for Big Pick Energy is a throwdown against Ballz Deep (3-1-0) coming up in Week 5 as they go for their fourth consecutive victory. In the loss for No As Club, QB Luc Quaranta did everything they could to keep their squad in this game, tossing three TD passes to three different receivers. Unfortunately, it just was not enough to get past a determined Big Pick Energy squad. No As Club (2-3) v. Ballz Deep (3-1) – Thursday, October 8, and 2020

After suffering a tough defeat in the game prior, No As Club, The underdog, bounced back very nicely and beat the favored Ballz Deep squad by a final score of 32 to 26. No As Club brought their A game, beating their average of 26.80 points per game. QB Luc Quaranta threw four more scores in this game, this time hitting four different receivers to lead their squad to their second victory of the season. The seven total TD passes in the two games played in Week 4 for QB Luc Quaranta brings his season Passing TD total up to 12. Patomic Bomb (5-0-0) are next up on the calendar for No As Club, as they look to record back-to-back victories for the first time this season. Ballz Deep really did everything they could on the offensive end in this one even though they lost, beating their average of 22.80 ppg for the year. In the loss, QB Sulaymaan Muhammad tossed three TD passes, hitting three different receivers along the way. Big Pick Energy (3-1-0) are next up on the calendar for Ballz Deep, as they attempt to rebound from their first defeat this season.

 

Savages (3-2) v. Can’t Find The Cleat (1-4) – Thursday, October 8, and 2020

Savages dominated Can’t Find The Cleat in Week 4 of the Thursday Lincoln Park Coed REC 8v8 Soccer League. By the score of 48-6, Savages got a massive win. This team really showed up on defense as well, beating their season points against average of 15.0 points per game. QB Vince delivered four touchdowns, finding Jasmine Arnold for two of them. Josh Hampton stepped up on the defensive end for Savages in this contest, recording a Defensive TD to help seal this huge Week 4 victory. Next up for Savages is a contest versus Balls & Dolls (1-3-0) coming up in Week 5 as they look to record their fourth win of the season. Can’t Find The Cleat really didn’t have their best stuff in this game, scoring less than their average of 11.60 ppg for the year. QB Kyle Kenagy recorded a Rushing TD to save their team from the shutout. Can’t Find The Cleat would need to put this lopsided loss behind them quicky as they immediately needed to step back onto the field and take on KaBoom! as they were scheduled for the double header in Week 4. KaBoom! (3-1) v. Can’t Find The Cleat (1-4) – Thursday, October 8, and 2020

Earning the same result as they did on opening day, KaBoom! won the rematch between these two squads in Week 4 of the Thursday Lincoln Park Coed REC 8v8 Flag Football League. KaBoom! really stepped up in this contest, topping their average of 30.80 points per game. QB Shaun Himmerick threw four TDs, finding Hassan Myles for two of them. The four TD passes brings his season total to a league-high of 14. Defensively, KaBoom! was awesome. They recorded two Defensive TDs while also shutting down their opponents for the first time this season. Balls & Dolls (1-3-0) are next up on the calendar for KaBoom! coming up in Week 5, as they look to creep closer to the top of the standings board. Can’t Find The Cleat really were unable to get rolling on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 11.60 points per game this year. Patomic Bomb is next up on the calendar for Can’t Find The Cleat coming up in Week 6, as they will look to close out their regular season schedule on a high-note.
