Savages (2-2) v. Girl Play (0-3) – Thursday, October 1, and 2020

Girl Play forfeited to Savages in Week 3 of the Thursday Lincoln Park Coed REC 8v8 Flag Football League. Next up for Savages was a date with Ballz Deep as they were scheduled for the double header in Week 3. More on this game below.

 

Ballz Deep (3-0) v. Savages (2-2) – Thursday, October 1, and 2020

Ballz Deep and Savages played in a nail-biter. With a final score of 20-19, Ballz Deep remain undefeated.  Ballz Deep showed some toughness in this game, winning despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 10.3 points per game. QB Sulaymaan Muhammed delivered three passing TDs, hitting Chris Delorme for two of them to help lead their squad to this crucial Week 3 victory. The three passing TD’s brings QB Sulaymaan Muhammed season total up to eight. Coming up in Week 4, Ballz Deep take on No As Club (1-2-0) in an attempt to stay unblemished. In the loss for Savages, QB Vince hit Javonte Keys for two touchdowns and scampered in for one with his legs. Unfortunately for QB Vince and the rest of the Savages crew, it was just not enough to get past a very determined Ballz Deep squad. Next up for Savages is a showdown versus Can’t Find The Cleat (1-2-0), as they look to rebound from this Week 3 split.

 

Big Pick Energy (2-1) v. Balls & Dolls (1-2) – Thursday, October 1, and 2020

Big Pick Energy and Balls & Dolls competed in an absolute shoot-out, totaling 61 points. By the score of 41-20, Big Pick Energy got a massive W to take their record up to 2-1 on the season. QB Carly Callans passed for three TDs, hitting Wyatt for two of them and scampered for one with their legs. Charles Wright and Matt Palmer pitched in with one TD grab apiece as well to help seal this Week 3 victory. No As Club (1-2-0) are next up on the calendar for Big Pick Energy coming up in Week 4, as they look to record their third straight victory. Balls & Dolls brought their best even though they lost, beating their average of 15.70 points per game for the year. In the loss, QB Matthew Fox tossed three TD passes to help keep their squad in this game, unfortunately it just was not enough to keep up with the high-flying Big Pick Energy Offense. Patomic Bomb (3-0-0) is next up on the calendar for Balls & Dolls, as they look to rebound.

 

Patomic Bomb (3-0) v. KaBoom! (2-1) – Thursday, October 1, and 2020

Patomic Bomb cruised past KaBoom! in Week 3 of the Thursday Lincoln Park Coed REC 8v8 Flag Football League. The final score of 41-13 reflects the hard work Patomic Bomb put into every minute of the game. Patomic Bomb really showed up in this game, topping their average of 34.70 points per game. Patomic Bomb is the highest scoring team in the league through the first three weeks. QB Clayton Sanger delivered two passing TDs, finding Toya for one of them and rushed in two more with their legs. Patomic Bomb will attempt to stay unbeaten coming up in Week 4 with a match-up against Balls & Dolls (1-2-0). KaBoom! really struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their average of 26.30 points per game for the season. For KaBoom!, QB Shaun Himmerick hit Hassan Myles for their only two scores of the game. The two passing TDs for QB Shaun Himmerick now puts him as the league leader in total TD passes through the first three weeks of the season. Can’t Find The Cleat (1-2-0) are next up on the docket for KaBoom!, as they look to get back on track.

 

Can’t Find The Cleat (1-2) v. No As Club (1-2) – Thursday, October 1, and 2020

Can’t Find The Cleat and No As Club combined for an offensive explosion totaling 73 points. The final score of 40-33 reflects the hard work Can’t Find The Cleat put into every minute of the game. Can’t Find The Cleat really brought their A game in this game, beating their average of 17.30 ppg. QB Kyle Kenagy had a huge game in Week 3, totaling five total touchdowns. QB Kyle Kenagy passed for three touchdowns, hitting Brandon for two of them and rushed for two more with his legs. Next up for Can’t Find The Cleat is a double header coming up in Week 4. They will first take the field to take on Savages (2-2-0) before having to step right back onto the field to pair up against KaBoom! Even though they lost, No As Club played their A game on the offensive end, exceeding their average of 25.30 points per game for the year. For No As Club, in the loss, QB Luc Quaranta played a fantastic game, tossing five total touchdown passes. WR Taylor Lennetti was on the receiving end of four of them. Big Pick Energy (2-1-0) are next up on the schedule for No As Club, as they attempt to bounce back from this tough defeat and record their second win on the season.
