Patomic Bomb (9-0) v. Balls & Dolls (1-7) – Thursday, November 05, 2020

#8 seed Balls & Dolls forfeited to #1 seed Patomic Bomb in the Quarterfinals of the Thursday Lincoln Park Coed REC 8v8 Flag Football League as they could not field enough starters to play a legal game. The win improves Patomic Bomb’s overall record to 9-0 on the season and advances them into the Semifinals coming up on Thursday night. They will attempt to stay perfect with a showdown against #5 seed Ballz Deep (4-3-0). Winner of this game will advance into the Championship game and compete for the league title.

 

Can’t Find The Cleat (2-5) v. Savages (5-3) – Thursday, November 05, 2020

In what ended up being the biggest upset in Week 1 of the Thursday Lincoln Park Coed REC 8v8 Flag Football League Playoffs, #7 seed Can’t Find The Cleat got some revenge from their Week 4 loss and won the rematch against #2 seed Savages. By the final score of 30-24, Can’t Find The Cleat got the huge Quarterfinals win. Can’t Find The Cleat brought it in this one, beating their average of 13.60 ppg. QB Kyle Kenagy tossed two TD passes, connecting with Andrea for one of them and rushed in one on his own. The win advances Can’t Find The Cleat into the Semifinals coming up on Thursday night. They will take the field against #3 seed KaBoom! (6-2) with the winner advancing into the Championship game. In the loss for Savages, Sleezie J Miles was on the receiving end of two touchdowns, but it just was not to get past a determined Can’t Find The Cleat squad. The loss ends Savages season a little sooner than they had hoped but overall, they had a great campaign. We hope to see this squad back on the field next season competing for another title!

 

KaBoom! (6-2) v. No As Club (3-5) – Thursday, November 05, 2020

As they did back in Week 2 of the regular season, KaBoom! won the rematch between these two Teams. With a final score of 31-25, #3 seed KaBoom! are one game closer to the championship title as they knocked off #6 seed No As Club in the Quarterfinals of the Thursday Lincoln Park Coed REC 8v8 Flag Football League. KaBoom! showed up this this contest, topping their average of 24.60 points per game. QB Shaun Himmerick fired four more touchdown passes in this one, connecting with Hassan Myles for two of them. This Quarterfinals victory advances KaBoom! Into the Semifinals coming up on Thursday night where they will take the field against #7 seed Can’t Find The Cleat (2-5). Winner of this game will move on to the Championship game and compete for the league title. During the loss for No As Club, Taylor Vennetii and Luc Quaranta each came up with two TD grabs apiece to help keep their squad in this game, unfortunately they came up just shy of knocking off the overall #3 seed. No As Club played tough all season long and we hope to see them back on the field battling for another league title next season!

 

Ballz Deep (4-3) v. Big Pick Energy (4-3) – Thursday, November 05, 2020

#5 seed Ballz Deep got some sweet revenge from their Week 5 defeat to #4 seed Big Pick Energy, as #5 seed Ballz Deep won the rematch between these two Teams in the Quarterfinals of the Thursday Lincoln Park Coed REC 8v8 Flag Football League. The final score of 34-12 reflects the hard work Ballz Deep put into every minute of this game. Ballz Deep really brought it in this game, exceeding their average of 17.90 points per game. QB Matt Majer delivered four TD strikes, hitting Sulaymaan Muhammad for two of them. Montrell Harris-Jackson also had a big game for Ballz Deep in this one, hauling in a TD pass while also recording a Defensive TD to help seal this Quarterfinals victory. This win advances Ballz Deep into the Semifinals coming up on Thursday night. They will take the field against #1 seed Patomic Bomb (9-0). Winner of this game will move on into the Championship game and compete for the league title. In the loss for Big Pick Energy, QB Carly Callans connected with Matt Palmer and Katie for their only scores in this game. Big Pick Energy had a great overall season and we hope to see this squad back on the field competing for another title next season!
