Train Wreck controlled this game in shut out fashion against Chicago Handshakes with a final score of 2-0. Train Wreck continue to show they are a team that is good at scoring. They’re averaging 4 goals per game. Matt scored one goal. The defenders did a great job in this game by helping their goalkeeper earn a shutout. This is Chicago Handshakes’s first loss of the season. Zombies! (1-2-3) vs. Blue Guys (4-1-1) – Wednesday, September 4, 2019

Earning their first win of the season, Zombies! beat Blue Guys 0-0. This win for the Zombies! came as a surprise considering it’s more than halfway through the season and they have only scored less than a handful goals. Blue Guys had a double header this week. Perhaps on a night they only had one game, this tie could have been a victory. For Blue Guys, next week they will go toe to toe with Toe Ballers.

Blue Guys (4-1-1) vs. Kick in a Box (0-5-1) – Wednesday, September 4, 2019

In this match, Blue Guys beat Kick in a Box 5-1. Kick in a Box have had a rough season. It’s week 6 and they’ve only scored a total of 3 goals. Tobias scored the only goal for Kick in a Box to prevent the shutout. Blue Guys came ready for a double header this week. This was the better played match, which helped them lock in their #2 rank in the standings table. Charles scored two goals to steer the group’s attack. Toe Ballers are next up on the calendar for Blue Guys, as they look to keep it going.

Toe Ballers (2-2-1) vs. Alright Alright Alright (1-3-2) – Wednesday, September 4, 2019

Toe Ballers put on a show on both sides of the pitch against Alright Alright Alright with a final score of 2-0. Alright Alright Alright didn’t have their best stuff on the offensive end in this game and suffered a shutout. Toe Ballers really brought it in this game, exceeding their average of 1.8 goals per game. Matt made one goal.
