Alright Alright Alright and Chicago Handshakes played to a draw and finished knotted up at 1-1. This is Chicago Handshakes’s first tie this season and it was their best offensive performance yet. John was the star player for Chicago Handshakes this week. They scored the only goal for them. This week’s result puts Alright Alright Alright in third place in the standings. Walter scored the team’s only goal, saving their team from defeat. Exiting week 1, Alright Alright Alright will look ahead to Zombies! (0-2-0) who are next on the docket.

FAM (0-0-1) vs. Kick in a Box (0-1-1) – Wednesday, July 31, 2019

FAM and Kick in a Box had a draw and finished all tied up at 1-1. This week’s result puts FAM in fourth place in the standings. Gino Castineiras scored the team’s only goal, saving their team from defeat. This is Kick in a Box’s first tie this season and it was their best offensive performance yet. Dan Mcdermott was the star player for Kick in a Box this week. They scored the only goal for their team. For Kick in a Box next they take on Train Wreck (2-0-0).

Train Wreck (2-0) vs. Zombies! (0-2) – Wednesday, July 31, 2019

Train Wreck were amazing in this shut out against Zombies! with a final score of 5-0. Train Wreck brought their A game in this game, exceeding their first game point total. Matt and Clay both contributed to the final score with 2 and 1 goals respectively. Shout-out to their goalie for the shutout! Train Wreck will try to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2. Next up is a battle with Kick in a Box (0-1-1).  This heartbreaking loss comes when Zombies! scored their personal best of the season.  For Zombies! they’ll move on to a game against Alright Alright Alright (1-0-1) as they look to bounce back.

Blue Guys (1-0) vs. Toe Ballers (0-1) – Wednesday, July 31, 2019

Blue Guys shut out Toe Ballers with a final score of just 1-0. Despite the win, Blue Guys are the lowest-scoring team in the league through week one. Femi was the hero on offense and scored their only goal. The team’s goalkeeper is credited with the clean sheet. The season is still young, and Toe Ballers has plenty of opportunities to improve on the offensive end.  Blue Guys will attempt to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2.
