Summer 2019 Tues Olympic Park Turf Coed Int 9v9 Soccer – Week 3

FC Red (2-1) vs. Pandas FC (1-2) – Tuesday, July 16, 2019

In this match the teams competed in an absolute shoot-out, totaling 10 goals.  Despite Pandas FC’s impressive 4 goals, FC Red got the win with the other 6 goals. Pandas FC really were unable to stop anything on the defensive end in this game, giving up more goals than their average of 4.0 goals against per game this year. The losing team still had notable players including Garrett Hill and Will, who both scored two goals for Pandas FC. Marta Cholewa and Lorenzo De La Torre also scored in the game FC Red are heating up with two wins in a row. Noah Ozbag scored two goals to spearhead the club’s offense, while Tyler Johnston and Kellie Reynolds also scored one.  INDY Team #2 (0-2-1) are next up on the calendar for Pandas FC, as they look to rebound.  Next up for FC Red is a Game versus Smalley FC (1-1-0).   

Smalley FC (1-1) vs. INDY Team #2 (0-2-1) – Tuesday, July 16, 2019

Going into this game, both teams were hungry for their first win of the season. Finally breaking their losing streak, Smalley FC snagged an exciting win against INDY Team #2 with a final score of 2-1. INDY Team #2 didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this one, scoring fewer than their average of 3.0 goals per game this season. Noah scored the only goal for INDY Team #2 to prevent the shutout.  Next Tuesday, INDY Team #2 faces off against Pandas FC (1-2-0) in an attempt to get their first win. Smalley FC really brought it in this one, exceeding their opening game point total. Robby P scored two goals and earned the most tallies on the scoresheet. Hit or Miss-fits (2-1-0) are next up on the schedule for Smalley FC, as they look to keep it going. 

Kicking&Screaming (2-1-1) vs. Hit or Miss-fits (2-1) – Tuesday, July 16, 2019

Kicking&Screaming and Hit or Miss-fits competed in a low scoring affair, combining for three goals. Kicking&Screaming took home the 2-1 victory. This is Hit or Miss-fits’s first loss of the season but it didn’t impact their #1 ranking in the league. Doug Macmillon scored the only goal for Hit or Miss-fits to save them from a shutout. This win is the second in a row for Kicking&Screaming, and it bumps them to 3rd place in the standings. Mark Laskowski accounted for two goals to spearhead the group’s attack.  Smalley FC (1-1-0) are next up on the schedule for Hit or Miss-fits, as they look to get back on track.  INDY Team #2 (0-2-1) are next up on the calendar for Kicking&Screaming, as they look to keep it going.
