Hit or Miss-fits (5-1-1) vs. INDY Team #2 (1-6-1) – Tuesday, August 13, 2019

Hit or Miss-fits were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 6 goals last week. Additionally, they were the higher ranked #1 seed playing the #6 seed, INDY Team #2. They played well and took home the win 3-1. INDY Team #2 really struggled to get it going on offense in this one, scoring less than their average of 2.1 goals per game this year. Jeff scored the only goal for INDY Team #2 to get their team on the board.  INDY Team #2 will play Kicking&Screaming next week in the first round of playoffs. They’re on fire! Kelly Blenner was among those who scored in this playoff win for Hit or Miss-fits, putting two shots past the INDY Team #2 goalkeeper, Andrew L. Sandro Krkljes scored the third goal to round out the scoring. Next up for Hit or Miss-fits is a match against the winner of Smalley FC and Pandas FC.

Kicking&Screaming (4-3-1) vs. FC Red (5-2) – Tuesday, August 13, 2019

Kicking&Screaming were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 7 goals last week. However, they were the lower ranked #4 seed playing the #2 seed, FC Red. They would have to play their best if they wanted to advance to the next round. Kicking&Screaming took home the win 6-3. Despite the loss, FC Red has been doing great on offense, with a total of 40 goals. The losing team still had notable players including Carissa Allen, Kevin Guzman, and Fabian, who each put in one goal for FC Red. Kicking&Screaming are heating up with two wins in a row. Brian R led their team to victory with a hat-trick plus 1. Nora Wessels and Brian Homerding each scored to get the team to six. FC Red takes on the winner of INDY Team #2 and Kicking&Screaming next week.

Pandas FC (4-3) vs. Smalley FC (1-5-1) – Tuesday, August 13, 2019

In this Last Week of Season game, the #3 seed, Pandas FC, took on the #5 seed, Smalley FC. Pandas FC brought home the victory against Smalley FC 4-1. Pandas FC are playing a fantastic offensive season. They’re averaging 4 goals per game. Tim Griffin, Tyler Johnston, Patrick McNamara, and Garret Hill each scored in this playoff win for Pandas FC, putting their shots past the Smalley FC goalkeeper, Ryan May. Smalley FC really didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this one, scoring fewer than their average of 1.7 goals per game this season.  Smalley FC has a first round rematch Pandas FC in the playoffs next week.
