Cuervos F.C. (5-0) vs. IRI BIG DATA BIG KICKS (1-2-2) – Tuesday, July 30, 2019

Cuervos F.C. and IRI BIG DATA BIG KICKS participated in a close one up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. Cuervos F.C. have a lot of scoring power. They’re averaging 3 goals per game. Norman  netted two goals to help earn the club the W while Aldo scored one to round out the scoring. On Tuesday, Cuervos F.C. take on Thunder (4-1-0) in an attempt to stay undefeated.  IRI BIG DATA BIG KICKS really were unable to stop much on defense in this one, allowing more goals than their average of 1.8 goals against per game this season. Thunder (4-1) vs. Freight FC (1-2-2) – Tuesday, July 30, 2019

Thunder and Freight FC had a nail-biter up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. In the win, Efren Rosales scored two to lead the team while Ben Hushek scored the other to secure the W for the team. Freight FC struggled defensively in this game, allowing more goals than their average of 2.2 goals against per game for the season. Alex was the star player for Freight FC this week. They scored all two goals for their team. Next up for Freight FC is a match-up versus The Ball Handlers (1-4-0), as they try to bounce back. Thunder seems to have found their groove and has won two games in a row. Next up for Thunder is a throwdown against Cuervos F.C. (5-0-0).

INDY Team #11 (3-1-1) vs. The Ball Handlers (1-4) – Tuesday, July 30, 2019

INDY Team #11 and The Ball Handlers had a defensive battle, with a combined score of three goals. INDY Team #11 took home the 2-1 victory. The Ball Handlers have had a rough season. It’s week 5 and they’ve only scored a total of 5 goals. David scored the only goal for The Ball Handlers to get their team on the board.  Freight FC (1-2-2) is next up on the calendar for The Ball Handlers, as they look to get back on track. INDY Team #11 really stepped up in this one, topping their average of 1.4 goals per game.  Cole Hayden and Chris Faxel kicked one goal to steer the team’s offense. Next up for INDY Team #11 is a Game against Soccer Scrubs (3-1-1).   

Soccer Scrubs (3-1-1) vs. Beercelona (2-2-1) – Tuesday, July 30, 2019

Soccer Scrubs beat Beercelona 3-1 in this game. Beercelona really struggled to get it going in this game, scoring fewer than their average of 2.0 GPG for the year. Connor Welby scored the only goal for Beercelona to save them from a shutout. Soccer Scrubs brought their A game in this one, beating their average of 2.4 goals per game.  Siobhan Cooney, Aaron, and Nick each scored one goal to provide some scoring.  Velvet Taquitos (1-4-0) are next up on the docket for Beercelona, as they look to rebound.  INDY Team #11 (3-1-1) are next up on the docket for Soccer Scrubs, as they look to keep it going. 

JLL (2-1-2) vs. Velvet Taquitos (1-4) – Tuesday, July 30, 2019

JLL shut out Velvet Taquitos with a final score of just 1-0. Velvet Taquitos struggled to get it going on offense in this game, and failed to make it onto the scoreboard. JLL buckled down in this contest, prevailing, despite scoring less than their average goals per game of 1.4.  To lead the crew’s attack, Chris scored their only goal.  The team’s goalie, Kyle Overby, got a shutout in this one.  Next up for Velvet Taquitos is a battle against Beercelona (2-2-1), as they look to get back into the winner’s circle.  Next up for JLL is a battle versus Benchwarmer FC (3-2-0). 

Benchwarmer FC (3-2) vs. Legendz (1-3-1) – Tuesday, July 30, 2019

Benchwarmer FC and Legendz were very comparable in this contest up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. Legendz didn’t have their best showing on D in this one, surrendering more goals than their average of 2.4 goals against per game for the year. The losing team still had notable players including Alexandra Lorimer and Owen, who kicked one goal for Legendz.  Yeovil (2-1-2) are next up on the docket for Legendz, as they attempt to rebound. Benchwarmer FC continued their winning streak this week and are officially on fire. Shane Decker, Jorge Garcia and Mckinzie each kicked one goal to help get the squad the win. JLL (2-1-2) are next up on the docket for Benchwarmer FC, as they look to keep it going. 

Yeovil (2-1-2) vs. Muchas Ganas FC (0-5) – Tuesday, July 30, 2019

Yeovil controlled this game in shut out fashion against Muchas Ganas FC with a final score of 2-0. Muchas Ganas FC were unable to get rolling on offense in this game, and suffered a shutout. Yeovil really brought it in this game, beating their average of 1.6 goals per game.  Ernesto Fernandez and Catherine Popp scored one goal. The team’s goalie, Mike, got a shutout in this one.  Muchas Ganas FC looks to get their first win next Tuesday versus IRI BIG DATA BIG KICKS (1-2-2).  Next up for Yeovil is a contest against Legendz (1-3-1).
