Beefcakes (7-2) v. Money Team (5-4) – Tuesday, July 30, and 2019

In this suspenseful Championship Game, the #1 team, Beefcakes played the #3 team, Money Team, for the coveted Chicago Sport and Social Club long-sleeve champ shirts to forever capture their moment of glory. By the score of 26-25, Beefcakes got a hard-fought W. These guys really battled for this one, prevailing despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 14.2 points per game. QB Nick Ciufia threw two touchdowns, passing to Andrew Apel and Cody Kliethermes and ran for one with his legs. Money Team gave everything they had on offense in this game despite the loss, exceeding their average of 22.60 points per game this year. In the loss, QB Andy hit Jordan Reisner for two touchdowns. Congratulations to Beefcakes on a great season and their championship win! We hope to see this squad return to defend their title. Money Team came so close to the championship title. They’re not an easy team to beat and looking ahead to next season, they are definitely a team that will be at the top of the standings table.
