In this exciting Championship Game, the #1 team, Fat Cat played the #3 team, Cheeky Monkey, for the coveted Chicago Sport and Social Club long-sleeve champ shirts to forever capture their moment of glory. They’re on fire! The two MVPs in this close match were the goalkeeper for Fat Cat, Isaac Hamlin, who had a shutout, and Jose Vidal who scored the only goal of the game. Congratulations to Fat Cat on a great season and their championship win! We hope to see this squad return to defend their title. Cheeky Monkey struggled to get it going on offense in this one, and came short of making it onto the scoreboard. Cheeky Monkey came so close to the championship title. They’re not an easy team to beat and looking ahead to next season, they are definitely a team that will be at the top of the standings table.
