INDY Team #2 (3-4-1) vs. The Invincible Super Winners (2-5) – Monday, September 30, 2019

The two MVPs in this close match were the goalkeeper for Cat Facts FC, Kaleb, who had a shutout, and Rob who scored the only goal of the game. Cat Facts FC will play the winner of Team Awesome and Avocado Discoballs. Fight or Flight didn’t have their best stuff in this one and suffered a shutout and have now been eliminated.

INDY Team #18 (3-4-1) vs. Aguacates FC (2-5) – Monday, September 30, 2019

INDY Team #18 were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 4 goals last week. Additionally, they were the higher ranked #14 seed playing the #17 seed, Aguacates FC. They played well and took the win to advance to Aguacates FC were unable to get rolling in terms of scoring in this game and suffered a shutout. This was one of two games for INDY Team #18 this week. This was the better played match, which helped them lock in their #14 rank in the standings table. Nicholas Watt is the goalkeeper credited with the shutout for INDY Team #18. Helping on the offense, Jeyser Claudio was among those who scored in this playoff win for INDY Team #18. Aguacates FC was eliminated following this loss. Balls Deep (6-0-1) vs. INDY Team #18 (3-4-1) – Monday, September 30, 2019

Cat Facts FC (4-2-2) vs. Soccer Hotties (4-2-1) – Monday, September 30, 2019

In this Quarter-Finals game, the #6 seed, Soccer Hotties, took on the #7 seed, Cat Facts FC. Soccer Hotties really were unable to get rolling in this game, scoring less than their average of 2.3 goals per game for the season. Soccer Hotties have an extra week of rest coming up with a coveted bye. This week, Cat Facts FC was fired up for a double header. They won both matches and increased their total goals scored to 14. Rob   leads Cat Facts FC this season in scoring and added 2 goals to their stats this week bringing Rob’s personal total to 6. Next up for Cat Facts FC is a coveted bye week.

Grass Kickers (2-2-3) vs. Panthers fc (0-6-1) – Monday, September 30, 2019

It was an exciting Quarter-Finals matchup, in which the #13 seed, Grass Kickers, squeaked by with a 1-point win against the #24 seed, Panthers fc. The two MVPs in this close match were the goalkeeper for Grass Kickers, Bobby Glasgow, who had a shutout, and Hailey Parungao who scored the only goal of the game. Panthers fc were unable to get rolling in this game and came short of making it onto the scoreboard. Grass Kickers will play Indy 3 next week in the next round of the quarterfinals. Panthers fc has lost their chance at the championship this year following the loss.

2 Goals, 1 Cup (1-5-1) vs. Wasted Talent (3-4) – Monday, September 30, 2019

They weren’t the favored team, but 2 Goals, 1 Cup, the #21 seed upset the #16 seed, Wasted Talent, in this Quarter-Finals games. Charlie Asselmeier was among those who scored in this playoff win for 2 Goals, 1 Cup, putting two shots past the Wasted Talent goalkeeper. 2 Goals, 1 Cup will play LPSE next week for a shot to keep going in this playoff. Wasted Talent has sadly lost their shot is year and will have to come back next season.

INDY Team #10 (4-3) vs. Conversant (0-4-3) – Monday, September 30, 2019

It was an exciting Quarterfinals matches, in which the #10 seed, INDY Team #10, squeaked by with a 1-point win against the #21 seed, Conversant. Mario Selent was among those who scored in this playoff win for INDY Team #10, putting two shots past the Conversant goalkeeper, Oscar. Conversant really were unable to put up much of a defense in this game, giving up more goals than their average of 2.3 goals against per game this season. Jose C was the star player for Conversant this week. They scored all two goals for their team. Next up for INDY Team #10 is a matchup against GT Soccer, but sadly this season is over for Conversant and they have been eliminated from the playoffs.

Team Awesome (3-2-2) vs. Flop Shop (1-5-1) – Monday, September 30, 2019

Heading into this Quarter-Finals games, Flop Shop were the higher ranked #10 seed playing the #21 seed, Flop Shop. They played well and took the win to advance to Team Awesome’s goalkeeper deserves much of the credit after earning a clean sheet. Mariana Robelo and Simon both led his team to victory to spearhead the team’s offense. Team Awesome will play Avocado Discoballs next week for a shot at the championship, but Flop Shop’s season has come to an end following this loss.
