ESPN The Ocho (6-0) vs. Avocado Discoballs (4-2) – Monday, September 23, 2019

ESPN The Ocho and Avocado Discoballs were extremely neck and neck in this one up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. ESPN The Ocho really brought it in this one, besting their average of 1.8 goals per game. Jenny Pudlo netted one goal to guide the squad’s attack. Avocado Discoballs really were unable to stop anything in this one, allowing more goals than their average of 1.2 goals against per game for the year. The losing team still had notable players including Mandy Paleczny, who put in one goal for Avocado Discoballs. Cat Facts FC blanked Panthers fc with a final score of just 1-0. Cat Facts FC buckled down in this battle, emerging victorious, despite scoring less than their average goals per game of 1.5. To provide some scoring, Rob   scored their only goal. The defenders are the unsung heroes of this match for helping Caleb earn a shutout. Grass Kickers (1-2-3) vs. Conversant (0-3-3) – Monday, September 23, 2019

Earning their first win of the season, Grass Kickers beat Conversant 0-0. Two weeks in a row, they’ve been so close to victory, but instead, Grass Kickers have a 2-game tie streak. Exiting week 6, Grass Kickers will look ahead to Panthers fc who are next on the schedule. Setting a record for the Conversant, this was their best defensive game of the season. For Conversant they will face off with INDY Team #10.

Soccer Hotties (4-1-1) vs. Winded City FC (2-3-1) – Monday, September 23, 2019

Soccer Hotties played well here and blanked Winded City FC with a final score of 2-0. Winded City FC were unable to get rolling on offense in this game, but they’ve had 6 overall goals this season. Next up for Winded City FC is a showdown against Briefcase FC, as they try to bounce back. Soccer Hotties seems to have found their groove and has won two games in a row. Soccer Hotties’s goalkeeper should receive a ton of praise for the shut out. Adam Rabushka and Alex each led his team to victory with one goal apiece. The winner of the game between Fight or Flight are next up on the schedule for Soccer Hotties, as they look to keep it going.

Aguacates FC (2-4) vs. INDY Team #10 (3-3) – Monday, September 23, 2019

The underdog, Aguacates FC (currently ranked 17th in the league) upset the favored INDY Team #10 (currently ranked 9th) with a final score of 5-1. Danny Trejo scored the only goal for INDY Team #10 to prevent the shutout. Conversant are next up on the schedule for INDY Team #10, as they attempt to rebound. Aguacates FC brought it in this one, topping their average of 1.3 goals per game. Philipo racked up a hat trick to lead the team’s offense. This win is the second in a row for Indy 3, and it bumps them to 7th place in the standings. Rebekah Ausbrook prevented the team’s loss by scoring their only goal.
