Burton Birdwatchers (4-0-1) vs. Waboba (1-2-2) – Sunday, July 15, and 2018
Burton Birdwatchers played well here and blanked Waboba with a final score of 2-0. Waboba didn’t have their best stuff in this game and came short of making it onto the scoreboard. Next up for Waboba is a battle against Net Six and Chill (2-1-2), as they look to get back on track. Burton Birdwatchers seems to have found their groove and has won two games in a row. Their goalkeeper Dan T. is credited with the clean sheet and to help gain the club the W, Thomas Mcbride kicked two goals. Burton Birdwatchers will try to remain undefeated next Sunday with a showdown against Spoons FC (4-0-0).

Spoons FC (4-0) vs. African Bush Elephants (0-5) – Sunday, July 15, and 2018
Spoons FC shut out African Bush Elephants with a final score of just 1-0. First shout-out goes to Josh W of Spoons FC who now has the most goals in the league with 5 goals. The team’s goalkeeper Danny Deroo deserves much of the credit after earning a clean sheet. To help get the club the win, Dez accounted for one goal. African Bush Elephants were unable to get rolling on the offensive end in this game and failed to make it onto the scoreboard. Next week, Spoons FC tries to stay undefeated with a throw down against Treadmill Trotters (1-2-2). Next game, African Bush Elephants attempt to break their winless streak with a match-up against Jefferies (0-2-3).

Net Six and Chill (2-1-2) vs. Jefferies (0-2-3) – Sunday, July 15, and 2018
Net Six and Chill and Jefferies finished in a draw knotted up at 1-1. Nick Webb was the star player for Jefferies this week scoring the only goal for their team. Jefferies had a double header this week, but the competition was extremely close, and they tied both matches. This week’s result puts Net Six and Chill in third place in the standings. For Net Six and Chill, Jacob Gordon accounted for one goal to lead the squad’s offense. For Jefferies they will go toe to toe with African Bush Elephants (0-5-0). Exiting week 5, Net Six and Chill will look ahead to Waboba (1-2-2) who are next on the calendar.

Treadmill Trotters (1-2-2) vs. Jefferies (0-2-3) – Sunday, July 15, and 2018
They feared they might go through the whole season without a win, but Treadmill Trotters tied Jefferies 1-1 in this week 5 match-up. They’ve met even competition the past two weeks and Treadmill Trotters have a 2-game draw streak. For Treadmill Trotters, Jessica Wasserman scored one goal to guide the team’s offense. This was one of two games for Jefferies this week. They’re not winning and they’re not losing, as they both matches were ties.
