Earning the same result as they did back in Week 2, Cobras won the rematch between these two clubs in Week 6 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League. With a final score of 35-12, Cobras hope to keep their winning momentum going into the Playoffs. Cobras are the highest-scoring team in the league, averaging 29.9 ppg. QB Chuck delivered four TDs threw the air, connecting with four different receivers along the way, and rushed for one more with his legs. This Week 6 victory locks Cobras into the overall #1 seed for the upcoming postseason tournament. They will begin their postseason journey on Wednesday night in the Semifinals with a matchup against the winner of the #4 seed Lightfoot’s Disciples (2-5) vs. #5 seed All Cap (1-5) game. During this Week 6 loss for All Cap, QB Joe Mendolia tossed two TD passes, connecting with Ryan Mysliwiec and Kevin Saccomonto for one touchdown apiece. Lightfoot’s Disciples forfeited to Back Dat Pass Up in Week 6 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF men’s INT Flag Football League as Lightfoot’s Disciples could not gather enough starters to play a legal game. Back Dat Pass Up could not celebrate this forfeit victory for too long as they needed to step back onto the field and take on Goodfellas as they had the Week 6 double header on their slate. More on this game below. This Week 6 forfeit loss drops Lightfoot’s Disciples into the overall #4 seed for the upcoming postseason tournament. They will begin their Playoff journey against #5 seed All Cap (1-5) in Round 1 on Wednesday night. Winner of this game will stay on the field and take on #1 seed Cobras (6-1) in the Semifinals.

 

Back Dat Pass Up (3-3-1) v. Goodfellas (4-2-1) – Wednesday, April 28, 2021

Back Dat Pass Up and Goodfellas were very well-matched in Week 6 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League and ended all tied at 13-13. For Back Dat Pass Up, QB Pj Marsek tossed two scores, connecting with Ryan Knopoff and Zach Leimback for one touchdown apiece. Back Dat Pass Up walk away from Week 6 with a win and a tie on their record, and as a result, lock up the overall #3 seed for the upcoming postseason tournament. They will begin their Playoff journey on Wednesday night in the Semifinals against this exact same #2 seeded Goodfellas (4-2-1) squad. For Goodfellas, QB Mike Pink hit Zach Smith and Christopher Beck for one touchdown apiece. With this Week 6 tie, Goodfellas lock up the overall #2 seed for the upcoming postseason tournament.
