Back Dat Pass Up (2-1) v. Lightfoot’s Disciples (1-2) – Wednesday, April 7, 2021

In a game that stayed relatively tight throughout, Back Dat Pass Up used a Defensive TD by Adam Corrado to break things open against Lightfoot’s Disciples, winning the game 33-14 on a picture-perfect evening in Week 3 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League. The final score of 33-14 reflects the hard work Back Dat Pass Up put into every minute of the game. Back Dat Pass Up are the highest-scoring team in the league for the season, averaging 21.7 points per game. QB Zach Leimback delivered four total scores in this game for Back Dat Pass Up, three by air and one on the ground. Next up for Back Dat Pass Up is a battle against Cobras (2-1-0) coming up in Week 4 as they look to record back-to-back victories for the first time this season. Lightfoot’s Disciples really brought their best in this game even with this loss on their record, exceeding their average of 11.30 points per game this year. Chris Faulk rushed in both of Lightfoot’s Disciples scores in this game to help keep their squad close. Goodfellas (3-1) v. All Cap (0-3) – Wednesday, April 7, 2021

Goodfellas recorded their third straight victory to open their Spring 2021 campaign as they held off All Cap 7-6 in a tight defensive battle in Week 3 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League. With the slim one-point victory, Goodfellas now have their eyes on the coveted championship shirts. These guys, Goodfellas, buckled down in this game, winning, despite scoring less than their avg. points per game of 12.80. QB Mike Pink passed one TD, which was caught by Brett Kuechler. Goodfellas extra point conversion was enough to record this victory. Goodfellas could not celebrate this victory for too long however as they needed to step right back onto the field and take on Cobras as they had the Week 3 double header. More on this game below. All Cap really gave it their all in terms of scoring in this one despite the loss, topping their average of 4.70 points per game this season. On the defensive side of the ball, All Cap had their best game of the year, holding their opponents to just 7 points. All Cap will attempt to record their first win of the season coming up in Week 4 against Lightfoot’s Disciples (1-2-0).

 

Cobras (2-1) v. Goodfellas (3-1) – Wednesday, April 7, 2021

Despite another solid game from QB Mike Pink, Goodfellas ultimately came up just short of recording their fourth consecutive victory, falling to Cobras by a final score of 18-12 in Week 3 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League. Goodfellas will be a little disappointed in their defensive effort in this one, allowing more points than their average of 10.50 points against per game this season. In the loss for Goodfellas, QB Mike Pink connected with Brett Kuechler and Hugh Ebb for their only two scores in this game. Next up for Goodfellas is a match-up against Lightfoot’s Disciples (1-2-0), as they look to start a new winning streak and maintain their top spot in the League Standings. The final score of 18-12 reflects the hard work Cobras put into every minute of the game. Cobras really buckled down in this one, earning the W despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 8.7 points per game. QB Chuck delivered three total TDs for Cobras in this one, two by air and one on the ground.
