Spring 2021 Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football – Week 2

Goodfellas (2-0) v. Back Dat Pass Up (1-1) – Wednesday, March 31, 2021

Goodfellas and Back Dat Pass Up had in a nail-biter in Week 2 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League.  The final score of 13-12 reflects the hard work Goodfellas put into every minute of this game.  Goodfellas may need to pick up the pace on offense however if they want to keep their winning ways going, as they are averaging just 16.0 PPG through the first two weeks.  QB Mike Pink delivered two touchdowns for Goodfellas this one, connecting with Brett Kuechler and Christopher Beck.  For Goodfellas, each week is a big opportunity to get cruising at the outset of the season.  Coming up in Week 3 Goodfellas will have two games as they are scheduled for the double dip.  They will first line-up against All Cap (0-2-0) before stepping right back onto the field to take on Cobras (1-1-0) as they will look to stay undefeated.  Even though they lost, Back Dat Pass Up played well here and had their opportunities to walk away with the W.  In the loss, QB Zach Leimback hit Brian Berzanski twice for their only two scores in this game.  For Back Dat Pass Up next on the schedule is Lightfoot’s Disciples (1-1-0) coming up in Week 3 as they strive to get back into the win column.
