Spring 2021 Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football – Week 1

Back Dat Pass Up (1-0) v. All Cap (0-1) – Wednesday, March 24, 2021

Back Dat Pass Up put 20 on the board and held All Cap to 8 points on opening night of the Spring 2021 Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League.  Back Dat Pass Up are the highest-scoring team in the league through week one.  QB Pj Marsek accounted for all three scores for Back Dat Pass Up in this one, tossing two TDs, finding Ryan Knopoff for all of them, and scampered in one with his legs. Exiting week 1, Back Dat Pass Up will look ahead to keep their early season momentum rolling. Goodfellas (1-0-0) are next on the docket for them coming up in Week 2.  All Cap may want to try something different on offense if they want to start climbing the standings, as they are the lowest-scoring team in the league through the first week. For All Cap, QB Milovan Vidovic connected with Josh Arguello for their only score in this game.  For All Cap they will have a date against Lightfoot’s Disciples (1-1-0) coming up in Week 2 as they look to bounce back from this defeat.

 

Goodfellas (1-0) v. Lightfoot’s Disciples (1-1) – Wednesday, March 24, 2021

Goodfellas used a strong defensive performance to get past Lightfoot’s Disciples 19-6 on opening night of the Spring 2021 Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League.  Goodfellas also rode the back of QB Mike Pink who threw three touchdown passes, connecting with three different receivers to help secure their squad their first W of the season.  For Goodfellas, every game is a crucial game to get cruising from the jump.  Back Dat Pass Up (1-0-0) are next on the docket for Goodfellas coming up in Week 2.  Lightfoot’s Disciples really were unable to get rolling on offense in this game, getting into the endzone just once.  During the loss, QB Calvin Kratohvil hit Kevin Assoian for their only score in this game.  Lightfoot’s Disciples needed to put this loss in their rear-view mirror quickly as they needed to step right back onto the field and take on Cobras in the back end of their Week 1 double header. Lightfoot’s Disciples (1-1) v. Cobras (0-1) – Wednesday, March 24, 2021

Lightfoot’s Disciples and Cobras were extremely evenly matched on opening night of the Spring 2021 Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League.  By the score of 14-13, Lightfoot’s Disciples got a close W to bring their record up to 1-1 on the year.  QB Chris Colnitis threw two scores for Lightfoot’s Disciples in this one, connecting with Calvin Kratohvil and Kevin Assoian to help secure their squad’s first victory of the season.  For Lightfoot’s Disciples, every contest is a big opportunity to move up the League Standings.  Coming up in Week 2, Lightfoot’s Disciples will go toe to toe with All Cap (0-1-0).  The season is still young, and Cobras has plenty of time to shake off this tough Week 1 defeat. Cobras will look to snatch their first victory of the season coming up in Week 2.
