The Save the Knees GK, John Ostrowski, also deserves some credit for this victory as they held #6 Daddy FC to just one goal. With the win, #2 Save the Knees advanced to the Championship Game and took on #1 Rooney’s Angels (6-2) for the League title. More on this game below. #6 Daddy FC really struggled to get it going on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 1.4 goals per game for the season. Andrew Witherspoon scored the only goal for #6 Daddy FC in this Semifinals contest to save them from a shutout. #6 Daddy FC’s Cinderella run came to end with this Semifinals defeat but overall, they had a fantastic Spring campaign.
