INDY Team #8 used a collective offensive effort to defeat INDY Team #6, 5-1, on opening day of the Spring 2021 Saturday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC/INT 8v8 Soccer League. Anna Vonderhaar, Damian Kane, Kyle Krenn, Christopher Cupp and Guillermo Contreras all contributed goals to INDY Team #8’s opening day victory. INDY Team #8 will look to stay atop the League Standings with another W in Week 2. Next up is a match-up with Fami1y Business (1-0-0) as they look to record back-to-back victories. Despite losing, INDY Team #6 has a significant number of games remaining on their schedule to pick it up on both sides of the ball. Alex Fugard scored the only goal for INDY Team #6 to save them from a shutout. Four different players scored goals as Fami1y Business came away with an emphatic 5-0 win over MDPlayers on opening day of the Spring 2021 Saturday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC/INT 8v8 Soccer League. Greta Gustafson fired in a brace to lead the way in scoring for Fami1y Business in this one. The defenders also did a great job in this game for Fami1y Business by helping goalkeeper Jayson Bresnen earn a shutout. Exiting week 1, Fami1y Business will look ahead to keep their early season momentum rolling. Next up is a matchup with INDY Team #8 (1-0-0) coming up in Week 2. It is only week one, and MDPlayers has plenty of opportunities to improve on the offensive end. For MDPlayers they will have a contest with INDY Team #6 (0-1-0) coming up in Week 2 as they try to come back from this one.

Net Six and Chill absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against Medix FC with a final score of 7-0 on opening day of the Spring 2021 Saturday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC/INT 8v8 Soccer League. Alex Nasca was on a tear on Saturday morning for Net Six and Chill as they scored a Week 1 league-high 5 goals to help earn the squad the victory. Nina Kodros and Austin Delsi also contributed to the team’s final score as they each knocked in a goal apiece to help seal this Week 1 victory for Net Six and Chill. Tanglers (0-1-0) are next on the calendar for Net Six and Chill coming up in Week 2, as they look for another win early on this season. For Medix FC, they just need to pick this game behind them quickly and move on to the next one. Next up for Medix FC is a date with Bout To Get Messi (1-0-0) coming up in Week 2 as they strive to get to the win column.

Bout To Get Messi collected their first victory of the season with a 2-0 win over the Tanglers on opening day of the Spring 2021 Saturday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC/INT 8v8 Soccer League. The Bout To Get Messi goal scorers in the victory were Fiona Kennedy and Jarrett Barker. Bout To Get Messi’s goalie Daniel Sinclair stone-walled the Tanglers in this contest to earn their first clean sheet of the season. Exiting week 1, Bout To Get Messi will look ahead to keep their early season momentum turning. Next up is a throwdown with Medix FC (0-1-0) coming up in Week 2. Even though they lost, Tanglers played well here, they just came up a little short. The Tanglers still have plenty of games to go back to the drawing board on the offensive side of the ball. As for Tanglers they will have a showdown with Net Six and Chill (1-0-0) coming up in Week 2 as they attempt to collect their first point(s) of the season.
