Spring 2021 Monday Wells High School TURF Men’s 7v7 Soccer – Week 3

Squad (2-1) vs. Ya Motha’s Favorite Team (0-3) – Monday, April 5, 2021

In this Week 3 matchup in the Monday Wells HS TURF Men’s 7v7 Soccer League, Squad beat Ya Motha’s Favorite Team by a final score of 7-3. Squad are having a remarkable offensive season. Brian Wurst fired in his league-leading 12th, 13th and 14th goals of the year to lead Monday’s Are For The Boys to a 5-2 victory over Chelsenal Liverspurs United in Week 3 of the Monday Wells HS TURF Men’s 7v7 Soccer League. Monday’s Are For The Boys are having a remarkable start to their season, recording four wins in their first four games. They are also averaging just under 7 goals per game while holding their opponents to under 2 goals per game. Monday’s Are For The Boys will try to remain unblemished coming up in Week 4 with a throwdown versus Chicago Soccer School (3-0-0) with first place in the League Standings on the line. The win marked Chicago Soccer School’s third straight to start their season. Chicago Soccer School are having an astounding offensive season. They are averaging a league-high 9.7 goals per game through the first three weeks of the season. This was a collective offensive performance for Chicago Soccer School as four different players tallied their names onto the scorer’s sheet. Chicago Soccer School will seek to remain unbeaten coming up in Week 4 with an important matchup with Monday’s Are For The Boys (4-0-0) as first place in the League Standings will be on the line. This is Vitamin O Yeah’s first loss of the season. The losing team still had notable players including Michael Deremo and Ryan Murphy, who each put in one goal for Vitamin O Yeah in this one. Unfortunately, it just was not enough to get past a determined Chicago Soccer School squad. The Vitamin O offense erupted in a 10-1 win over FC Friendship in Week 3 of the Monday Wells HS TURF Men’s 7v7 Soccer League. Ryan Heaney was on fire on Monday evening for Vitamin O, knocking in 4 goals to lead the group’s offense. Ryan Geidner also contributed to the Vitamin O’s final score by firing in his second hat-trick of the season. Vitamin O Yeah (2-1-0) are next up on the docket for Vitamin O coming up in Week 4, as they look to record their third win in a row. FC Friendship really did not have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this game, scoring less than their average of 3.7 goals per game this season. Mark Madera scored the only goal for FC Friendship to prevent the shutout in this one.
