Aston Birra (3-0) vs. Brunch So Hard (1-2) – Sunday, August 2, 2020

Aston Birra beat Brunch So Hard 5-2 in this game. Aston Birra had two games this week. They won both matches and increased their total goals scored to 12. Austin Delsi kicked two goals to help earn the team the victory. Brunch So Hard really didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this one, scoring fewer than their average of 3.0 GPG this season. The losing team still had notable players including Jake Pellegrini, who tallied one goal for Brunch So Hard. Next week, Aston Birra will try to remain perfect with a match-up against The Tanglers (0-3-0).   Plague (2-1-1) are next up on the docket for Brunch So Hard, as they attempt to rebound.

Aston Birra (3-0) vs. INDY Team #6 (0-2-1) – Sunday, August 2, 2020

In this match, Aston Birra beat INDY Team #6 6-1. This was one of two games for Aston Birra this week. They won both matches giving them a 3-game winning streak. Colin Maloney kicked two goals to help earn the group the W. INDY Team #6 really were unable to put up much of a defense in this one, surrendering more goals than their average of 3.7 goals against per game for the year. George Stolakis scored the only goal for INDY Team #6 to prevent the shutout. Next Sunday, Aston Birra will try to remain undefeated with a Game against The Tanglers (0-3-0).   INDY Team #6 seeks to get their first win next week against Athletico WB (2-0-1).

Crusaders (2-0-1) vs. The Tanglers (0-3) – Sunday, August 2, 2020

Crusaders played well here and blanked The Tanglers with a final score of 3-0. The Tanglers struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this one, and failed to make it onto the scoreboard. Crusaders are heating up with two wins in a row. Dylan Keefe had two goals. The club’s goalkeeper is credited with the shutout.  The Tanglers seeks to get their first win next week against Aston Birra (3-0-0).  Crusaders will try to remain perfect next Sunday with a Game versus Cat Facts FC (3-1-0).

FC Indy (1-2) vs. Plague (2-1-1) – Sunday, August 2, 2020

Earning their first win of the season, FC Indy beat Plague 3-1. Plague had a double header. This was the tougher match of the two, but unfortunately it was their first loss of the season. Amy  scored the only goal for Plague to prevent the shutout. FC Indy really brought their A game, topping their average of 2.0 goals per game.  Andy Adams lasered in one goal to provide some scoring.  Brunch So Hard (1-2-0) is next up on the docket for Plague, as they attempt to rebound.  No Punt Intended (0-3-0) are next up on the schedule for FC Indy, as they look to keep it going.

Athletico WB (2-0-1) vs. Plague (2-1-1) – Sunday, August 2, 2020

Athletico WB and Plague were very even in this one and concluded knotted up at 2-2. Morale for members of Athletico WB is starting to taper as they have tied their last 3 games. Patrick Hodan scored one goal to help earn the club the W. This was one of two games for Plague this week. They tied both matches boosting them to a 1-game streak of draws. In the tie, Rebecca Knezek netted one goal for Plague. Exiting week 3, Athletico WB looks ahead to INDY Team #6 (0-2-1) who are next on the calendar.  For Plague they will face off with Brunch So Hard (1-2-0).

Cat Facts FC (3-1) vs. No Punt Intended (0-3) – Sunday, August 2, 2020

Cat Facts FC controlled this game in shut out fashion against No Punt Intended with a final score of 2-0. No Punt Intended were unable to get rolling in this one, but they’ve had 0 overall goals this season.
