Athletico WB beat Brunch So Hard 5-3 in this game. Loretta Elder kicked two goals to steer the team’s attack.  For Athletico WB, every week is a big game for them to gather wins early on. This week Athletico WB will compete with FC Indy (0-1-0).  The season is still young, and Brunch So Hard has significant amounts of weeks to go back to the drawing board on offense. Cat Facts FC (2-0) vs. FC Indy (0-1) – Sunday, July 19, 2020

Cat Facts FC played well here and blanked FC Indy with a final score of 3-0. The season is still young, and FC Indy has significant amounts of opportunities to go back to the drawing board on the offensive side of the ball.  For FC Indy they’ll move on to a date with Athletico WB (1-0-0) as they look to rebound. Cat Facts FC came ready for a double header. Both matches were victories, which means they’re heating up! Alex Perkowski and Conor Kelch both contributed to the final score with 2 and 1 goals respectively. The team’s goalkeeper, Kaleb Wilson, got a shutout in this one.

Plague (1-0) vs. No Punt Intended (0-1) – Sunday, July 19, 2020

Plague shut out No Punt Intended with a final score of just 1-0. Daniel McDermott prevented the team’s loss by scoring their only goal. The defense are the unsung heroes of this match for helping Bogdan Horopciuc earn a shutout. Even though they lost, No Punt Intended have plenty of games to practice their offensive skills before play-offs. The losing team still had notable players including Adam Roberts, who had one goal for No Punt Intended.  For Plague, every contest is a critical game to gain ground in the Standings at the beginning of the year. Cat Facts FC beat The Tanglers 3-1 in this game. This was one of two games for Cat Facts FC this week. Both matches were victories, which means they’re officially heating up! Conor Kelch scored one goal to help earn the squad the win. It’s only the first week, and The Tanglers has tons of games to get better on the offensive end. Erik Newman scored the only goal for The Tanglers to save them from a shutout.  For Cat Facts FC, every contest is a crucial chance to gain ground in the Standings at the beginning of the year. As for The Tanglers next up is a date with Plague (1-0-0) as they try to rebound.

INDY Team #6 (0-0-1) vs. Crusaders (0-0-1) – Sunday, July 19, 2020

INDY Team #6 and Crusaders took part in a draw and concluded knotted up at 1-1. This is Crusaders’s first tie this season and it was their best offensive performance yet. D Reefe was the star player for Crusaders this week. They scored the only goal for their team. INDY Team #6 used their 1 goals scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 1. George Stolakis scored the team’s only goal, keeping their team in the game. Exiting week 1, INDY Team #6 looks ahead to Brunch So Hard (0-1-0) who are next on the schedule.
