Camel Toepoke (1-0-2) vs. Footloose (1-2) – Saturday, August 1, 2020

Earning their first win of the season, Camel Toepoke beat Footloose 3-0. Footloose were unable to get rolling on offense in this game, and came short of making it onto the scoreboard.  Chicago Cougars (3-0-1) is next up on the calendar for Footloose, as they look to get back on track. Camel Toepoke had a double header. This was the better played match, which helped them claim their #3 rank in the standings table. Josh Roberts scored one goal. Shout-out to goalkeeper, Brian Mcgovern, for the shutout! Next week, Camel Toepoke face off against Jimmy’s U10s (1-2-0) in an attempt to remain unbeaten.

Chicago Cougars played well here and blanked Jimmy’s U10s with a final score of 2-0. Chicago Cougars came ready for a double header. They won both matches, which means they’re heating up! Peaked in High School and Camel Toepoke were extremely well-matched in this one and finished all tied at 0-0. Starting to look like the Chicago Fire’s 2014 MLS season, Peaked in High School have had a frustrating streak of ties for 4 games in a row. Camel Toepoke had a double header this week. Both matches were ties boosting them to a frustrating streak of 1 draws. Chicago Cougars were amazing in this shut out against INDY Team #7 with a final score of 4-0. INDY Team #7 were unable to get rolling on offense in this game, but they’ve had 0 overall goals this season.  Next week, INDY Team #7 battles against Net Six and Chill (2-1-0) in an attempt to get their first win.
