Spring 2019 Wednesday Montrose Turf Coed Soccer – Week 4

Chicago Handshakes (1-3) vs. Zombies! (0-3-1) – Wednesday, April 17, 2019

After 3 weeks of losses, both teams were eager for a chance to gain a win in this game.  Finally breaking their losing streak, Chicago Handshakes snagged a win against Zombies! with a final score of 3-0. Nick Campagna, Shap, and Tom each scored a goal in the victory.  Zombies! struggled to get it going on offense in this one and suffered a shutout. Kick in a Box (0-3-1) are next up on the calendar for Chicago Handshakes, as they look to keep it going.   Next game, Zombies! faces off against Blue Guys (2-1-1) in an attempt to break their winless streak.

Train Wreck (4-0) vs. Blue Guys (2-1-1) – Wednesday, April 17, 2019

Train Wreck blanked Blue Guys with a final score of just 1-0. Jason scored the only goal in this match which happen to be the game winning goal.  This is Blue Guys’s first loss of the season.  Zombies! (0-3-1) is next up on the docket for Blue Guys, as they look to get back on track.  Next week, Train Wreck faces off against Toe Ballers (3-0-1) in an attempt to stay perfect.

Toe Ballers (3-0-1) vs. Kick in a Box (0-3-1) – Wednesday, April 17, 2019

Toe Ballers were amazing in this shut out against Kick in a Box with a final score of 4-0.   In this victory Michael and Chris each scored two goals in this shut out victory.  On Wednesday, Toe Ballers battle against Train Wreck (4-0-0) in an attempt to remain perfect.  Kick in a Box struggled to get it going on offense in this game, and came short of making it onto the scoreboard.  Kick in a Box seeks to get their first win next Wednesday with a match-up versus Chicago Handshakes (1-3-0).
