Blue Guys (4-1-1) vs. Kick in a Box (0-5-1) – Wednesday, May 01, 2019

Grabbing the same result as they did earlier in the year, Blue Guys won the second go-around between these two squads. This game finished with a final score of 5-0. Charles and Alex led the way for Blue Guys with two goals each while Drew added a goal as well in the victory.  Kick in a Box were unable to get rolling on offense in this one, and couldn’t seem to find the back of the net. The loss for Kick in a Box leaves them as the #5 seed heading into playoffs. They’ll face the # seeded team, .   Blue Guys finished the regular season in 2nd place, and they will play the winner of the 7th vs 10th place play-in game. They have a bye next week and will play the following week.

Toe Ballers (4-1-1) vs. Chicago Handshakes (2-4) – Wednesday, May 01, 2019

As they did earlier in the year, Toe Ballers won the second go-around between these two squads. This game finished with a final score of 3-1.  Bob, Lauren, and Matt each scored a goal in this victory.  Chicago Handshakes really struggled to get it going in this game, scoring less than their average of 1.8 GPG this year. Claire  scored the only goal for Chicago Handshakes to save them from a shutout. Toe Ballers finished the regular season in 2nd place, and they will play the winner of the 7th vs 10th place play-in game. They have a bye next week and will play the following week. Train Wreck (6-0) vs. Zombies! (0-5-1) – Wednesday, May 01, 2019

As was the case earlier this season, Train Wreck won the rematch between these two squads. This game finished with a final score of 2-0. For Train Wreck  Ben and Randy were the MVPs of this match each scoring a goal in the win.  Zombies! didn’t have their best stuff on the offensive end in this one, and failed to make it onto the scoreboard. The loss dropped Zombies! down to the #5 seed. They’ll face the # seeded team, .   Train Wreck finished the regular season in 1st place, and they will play the winner of the 8th vs 9th place play-in game. They have a bye next week and will play the following week.
