Spring 2019 Wednesday Lincoln Park Turf Men’s Int Flag Football – Week 4

Uber Freight (2-1-1) v. No Punt Intended (1-3-1) – Wednesday, April 17, and 2019

Uber Freight and No Punt Intended competed in a nail-biter.  Uber Freight put 21 on the board and held No Punt Intended to 16 points.  Uber Freight really stepped up in this game, topping their average of 15.00 points per game.  QB Mike Mctygue threw three touchdowns, hitting Charlie for two of them and Dimitri Clarke for one. No Punt Intended really struggled to get it going in this game, scoring less than their average of 18.20 points per game this year. For No Punt Intended, in the loss, QB Peter J Balsam hit Tim Blue for two touchdowns. Clydesdales (4-1-0) are next up on the docket for Uber Freight, as they look to keep it going.   Checkdowners (0-2-1) are next up on the docket for No Punt Intended, as they attempt to bounce back.

 

Wolves of Marcy St (5-0) v. Checkdowners (0-2-1) – Wednesday, April 17, and 2019

Wolves of Marcy St crushed Checkdowners with a final score of39-6.  These guys really stepped up on D, beating their season points against average of 7.8 ppg.  QB Georaulde delivered five TDs, finding Kevin Cooney and Pete each for two of them, while Kyle McRae caught one.  Georaulde also scampered in one on his own.  Checkdowners really struggled to get it going on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their average of 12.70 points per game for the season.  For Checkdowners, in the loss, QB Dan Knisley hit Michael for one touchdown.  Next Wednesday, Wolves of Marcy St seeks to remain perfect with a throwdown versus Son of A Butcher (0-4-0).   Next Wednesday, Checkdowners faces off against No Punt Intended (1-3-1) in an attempt to get their first win.

 

Clydesdales (4-1) v. Dynamos (1-2-1) – Wednesday, April 17, and 2019

Clydesdales and Dynamos were very evenly matched in this match-up. With a final score of 14-12, Clydesdales have their eyes on the prize.  This team, Clydesdales, really fought hard for this one, emerging victorious, despite scoring less than their avg. ppg of 21.00. QB Michael Boles delivered one touchdown, which was caught by Connor Furlan. Dynamos really didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their average of 19.80 points per game for the year. During the loss for Dynamos, QB Conri Benz hit Aaron Giles for one touchdown and scampered in for one. Uber Freight (2-1-1) are next up on the docket for Clydesdales, as they look to keep it going.   Next up for Dynamos is a showdown versus Uber Freight (2-1-1), as they look to get back into the winner’s circle.

 

Clydesdales (4-1) v. Son of A Butcher (0-4) – Wednesday, April 17, and 2019

Clydesdales put 34 on the board and held Son of A Butcher to 12 points.  Clydesdales really stepped up in this game, exceeding their average of 21.00 points per game.  QB Michael Boles threw three touchdowns, finding Johnny Ricchio Jr. for two of them and William Lundy for one.  Son of A Butcher gave it their all on in terms of scoring in this game even though they lost, topping their average of 6.00 points per game for the year. For Son of A Butcher, in the loss, QB Jake hit Izy Hernadez and Arturo each for one touchdown. Next up for Clydesdales is a battle against Uber Freight (2-1-1).   Next week, Son of A Butcher will seek to get their first win against Wolves of Marcy St (5-0-0).
