Spring 2019 Wednesday Lincoln Park Turf Coed Flag Football – Week 3

Salty Sack (1-2) v. Wilson (0-3) – Wednesday, April 10, and 2019

Salty Sack crushed Wilson. The final score of 48-21 reflects the hard work Salty Sack put into every minute of the game.  Salty Sack stepped up in this one, beating their average of 27.00 points per game. QB Eric Berg delivered six TDs, hitting Aaron for two of them. Wilson really were unable to get rolling on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their average of 24.30 ppg for the season.  In the loss, QB Trevor Staroske hit Nathan Barta for two touchdowns. EDDIE MONEY (1-1-0) are next up on the calendar for Salty Sack, as they look to keep it going.   Next week, Wilson faces off against INDY Team #8 (1-2-0) in an attempt to put a 1 in the win column.

 

ChicaGo Badgers (3-0) v. INDY Team #8 (1-2) – Wednesday, April 10, and 2019

ChicaGo Badgers dominated INDY Team #8. With a final score of 48-24, ChicaGo Badgers remain undefeated this season.  ChicaGo Badgers brought it in this game, topping their average of 36.30 points per game. QB Cal Ehrke delivered six touchdowns, hitting Haley Schmitz for two of them. INDY Team #8 brought their best on in terms of scoring even with this loss on their record, beating their average of 20.30 points per game for the year.Next week, ChicaGo Badgers will attempt to remain unbeaten with a contest against Bad News Bears (0-3-0).   Wilson (0-3-0) is next up on the calendar for INDY Team #8, as they attempt to bounce back.

 

Flaggin’ Ball Z (2-1) v. Bad News Bears (0-3) – Wednesday, April 10, and 2019

Flaggin’ Ball Z dominated Bad News Bears. With a final score of 58-14, Flaggin’ Ball Z hope to keep their momentum going as they advance in playoffs.  Flaggin’ Ball Z are the highest-scoring team in the league, averaging 45.7 points per game. QB Joe Gill delivered nine TDs, passing to Dre  for three of them. Bad News Bears really struggled to get it going on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 18.00 points per game this year. During the loss for Bad News Bears, QB Scott Jarnac hit Richie  for one touchdown and ran into the end zone for one. Next up for Flaggin’ Ball Z is a contest versus EDDIE MONEY (1-1-0).   Bad News Bears seeks to get off the schneid next week with a match-up versus ChicaGo Badgers (3-0-0).

 

Legion of Boom (3-0) v. 3rd and Schlong (2-2) – Wednesday, April 10, and 2019

The final score of 28-13 reflects the hard work Legion of Boom put into every minute of the game.  This team, Legion of Boom, really showed some toughness in this game, prevailing, despite scoring less than their avg. points per game of 34.00. QB Mike Migut passed three TDs, finding Taya Jackson for one of them and rushed for one more. 3rd and Schlong really were unable to get rolling on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their average of 20.80 ppg this year. For 3rd and Schlong, QB Anthony  hit Rachael Lenderman for one touchdown. Legion of Boom will attempt to remain undefeated next Wednesday with a match-up against Jackie Moons (1-2-0).   Next up for 3rd and Schlong is a battle versus Accounts Playable (4-0-0), as they attempt to rebound.

 

EDDIE MONEY (1-1) v. No Punt Intended (1-2) – Wednesday, April 10, and 2019

With a final score of 29-18, EDDIE MONEY are fired up and ready for the next match.  This team stepped up on the defensive end, allowing fewer points than they gave up in their opening game. QB Clayton Sanger passed three touchdowns, finding Lyanea  for two of them and ran for one with his legs. No Punt Intended really struggled defensively in this one, allowing more points than their average of 25.70 points against per game this season. During the loss, QB Justin  hit Ed  for one touchdown and rushed for two. Next up for EDDIE MONEY is a throwdown against Flaggin’ Ball Z (2-1-0).   Next up for No Punt Intended is a battle against Plain White TD’s (1-2-0), as they look to get back into the winner’s circle.

 

Accounts Playable (4-0) v. Plain White TD’s (1-2) – Wednesday, April 10, and 2019

Accounts Playable and Plain White TD’s lit up the scoreboard, combining for 56 points. The final score of 32-24 reflects the hard work Accounts Playable put into every minute of the game.  These guys really buckled down in this one, prevailing despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 15.3 points per game. QB Michael Scherpenberg delivered three TDs, hitting Matthew Lynch for all of them and scampered for two more. Plain White TD’s really were unable to get rolling on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their average of 28.00 points per game for the season. During the loss for Plain White TD’s, QB Jeremy Renda hit Peter Oconnor for one touchdown and rushed for two. Accounts Playable will try to remain undefeated next week with a contest against 3rd and Schlong (2-2-0).   Next up for Plain White TD’s is a match-up versus No Punt Intended (1-2-0), as they look to get back into the winner’s circle.
