Banana Bread at Work, Bro (1-0) vs. Ball Handlers (0-1) – Wednesday, March 27, 2019

Banana Bread at Work, Bro were incredible on both sides of the pitch against Ball Handlers with a final score of 9-0.  Banana Bread at Work, Bro’s goalie Brian should receive a ton of praise for the shut out. Brandon Sullivan and Brandon Sullivan both netted two goals while Brendan Geraghty, Lianna Simms, Benjamin Wallace, Robert, and Nena each added one goal to help gain the club the win.  Banana Bread at Work, Bro will attempt to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2.  In week 2 Banana Bread at Work, Bro will battle Kick Acidosis (0-0-1).  Ball Handlers had a rough start to the season, but sources tell us they just had an off night and they’ll be bouncing back in week 2.  As for Ball Handlers they will have a contest with CDM Media (0-0-1) as they strive to come back from this one.

 

CDM Media (0-0-1) vs. F.C. DVG (0-0-1) – Wednesday, March 27, 2019

CDM Media and F.C. DVG finished in a draw and concluded all tied up at 0-0. Setting a record for the CDM Media, this was their best defensive game of the season. Exiting week 1, CDM Media will look ahead to Ball Handlers (0-1-0) who are next on the schedule. Setting a record for the F.C. DVG, this was their best defensive game of the season.  For F.C. DVG next up is KH Kicks (0-0-1).

 

KH Kicks (0-0-1) vs. Kick Acidosis (0-0-1) – Wednesday, March 27, 2019

KH Kicks and Kick Acidosis were very even in this match-up and ended knotted up at 1-1. This is Kick Acidosis’s first tie this season and it was their best offensive performance yet. Andrew  was the star player for Kick Acidosis this week. They scored the only goal for them. For Kick Acidosis next up is Banana Bread at Work, Bro (1-0-0). This week’s result puts KH Kicks in fourth place in the standings. Adis Sulejmanovic scored the team’s only goal, keeping their team on the board. Exiting week 1, KH Kicks looks ahead to F.C. DVG (0-0-1) who are next on the docket.

 

LPSE (1-0) vs. Boots and Hoes (0-1) – Wednesday, March 27, 2019

LPSE and Boots and Hoes participated in a nail-biter up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. Sharief El-Gabri kicked two goals and David Allard kicked one to help earn the squad the W.  LPSE will try to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2.  INDY Team #6 (0-0-0) are next on the docket for LPSE.  It’s only the first week, and Boots and Hoes has tons of opportunities to get better on offense.  The losing team still had notable players including Jamie Peterson, who netted one goal for Boots and Hoes.

 

Sick Kickers (0-0-1) vs. The Ball Handlers (0-0-1) – Wednesday, March 27, 2019

Sick Kickers and The Ball Handlers were very well-matched in this match-up and ended all tied up at 2-2. This is The Ball Handlers’s first tie this season and it was their best offensive performance yet. Dillon  was the star player for The Ball Handlers this week. They scored both goals for them.  Spencer Smith and Nathan each kicked one goal to spearhead the team’s offense.  For The Ball Handlers next they take on Uptake United (0-1-0).  Exiting week 1, Sick Kickers looks ahead to Tribe FC (1-0-0) who are next on the schedule.

 

Tribe FC (1-0) vs. Uptake United (0-1) – Wednesday, March 27, 2019

Tribe FC absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against Uptake United with a final score of 7-0.  Tribe FC’s goalie Chris Noonan earned a clean sheet in this one.  Matthew Shipon and Alex each kicked two goals to help earn the team the W. Uptake United will look to turn things around on offense if they want to get rolling, as they are the lowest-scoring team in the league through week one.  Tribe FC will try to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2.  Next up is a throwdown with Sick Kickers (0-0-1).   As for Uptake United next on the schedule is The Ball Handlers (0-0-1) as they look to rebound.
