Spring 2019 Wednesday Lincoln Park Men’s Int Flag Football – Week 5

Wolves of Marcy St (6-0) v. Son of A Butcher (0-5) – Wednesday, April 24, and 2019

Wolves of Marcy St destroyed Son of A Butcher.  The final score of 39-6 reflects the hard work Wolves of Marcy St put into every minute of the game.  They really stepped up on the defensive end, beating their season points against average of 7.5 points per game.  QB Joe delivered three touchdowns, finding John Callahan for two of them and Nick Maggiore for one and rushed for one with his legs.  During the loss, QB Jake hit Jamelle for one touchdown.  Wolves of Marcy St will look to stay unbeaten next week with a battle versus Clydesdales (5-1-0).   Son of A Butcher looks to get on the board with a win next week against Checkdowners (0-3-1).

 

Clydesdales (5-1) v. Uber Freight (2-3-1) – Wednesday, April 24, and 2019

The final score of 26-6 reflects the hard work Clydesdales put into every minute of the game.  Clydesdales really brought their A game in this game, topping their average of 21.80 points per game. QB Michael Boles threw two touchdowns, hitting Jeremy Shuskus and Tim Sharp each for one of them and ran for two with his legs.  Uber Freight really were unable to get rolling in this game, scoring less than their average of 12.00 points per game for the year.  In the loss, QB Cory Coleman hit Chase Bonsall for one touchdown. Next up for Clydesdales is a date against Wolves of Marcy St (6-0-0).    is next up on the schedule for Uber Freight, as they look to get back on track.

 

Dynamos (2-2-1) v. Uber Freight (2-3-1) – Wednesday, April 24, and 2019

Dynamos and Uber Freight competed in a close one. Dynamos put 13 on the board and held Uber Freight to 6 points.  This team, Dynamos, really buckled down in this one, winning, despite scoring less than their avg. points per game of 18.40.  QB Conri Benz passed two TDs, passing to Casey and Chris each for one of them.  Uber Freight struggled to get it going in this one, scoring less than their average of 12.00 ppg this year.  For Uber Freight, QB Mike Mctygue hit Chase Bonsall for one touchdown. No Punt Intended (2-3-1) are next up on the calendar for Dynamos, as they look to keep it going.   Next up for Uber Freight is a showdown versus, as they try to bounce back.

 

No Punt Intended (2-3-1) v. Checkdowners (0-3-1) – Wednesday, April 24, and 2019

No Punt Intended and Checkdowners competed in a close one. By the score of 21-13, No Punt Intended got a solid win.  No Punt Intended brought their A game, beating their average of 18.70 points per game. QB Peter J Balsam passed three scores, finding Timothy Hanrahan for two of them and Stephen Jones for one more.  Checkdowners brought their best defensively in this one in spite of losing, beating their average of 24.80 points against per game for the season.  During the loss for Checkdowners, QB Dan Knisley hit Kurt Rogers and Jamelle each for one touchdown.  Next up for No Punt Intended is a pairing against Dynamos (2-2-1).   On Wednesday, Checkdowners will attempt to get off the schneid versus Dynamos (2-2-1).
