Flaggin’ Ball Z (6-2) v. Legion of Boom (7-1) – Wednesday, May 15, and 2019

Looks like Legion of Boom forfeited to Flaggin’ Ball Z this week.  The semi-final win for Flaggin’ Ball Z advanced them to the championship game. Read the Championship recap below to see how they finished. Hopefully the loss doesn’t haunt Legion of Boom too much. There’s always next season.

 

No Punt Intended (7-2) v. ChicaGo Badgers (6-4) – Wednesday, May 15, and 2019

In this Semi-Final game, the #2 seed, No Punt Intended, took on the #7 seed, ChicaGo Badgers.  With a final score of 35-28, No Punt Intended hope to keep their momentum going as they advance in playoffs.  They really battled hard for this one, winning despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 21.1 points per game.  QB Justin threw four TDs, passing to Ryan Hooper for two of them and rushed for one with his legs.   During the loss for ChicaGo Badgers, QB Cal Ehrke hit Dillon Feidler for two touchdowns.  The semi-final win for No Punt Intended advanced them to the championship game.  Read the Championship recap below to see how they finished.  This is the end of the road for ChicaGo Badgers’s run in this league. Flaggin’ Ball Z (6-2) v. No Punt Intended (7-2) – Wednesday, May 15, and 2019

In this Championship Game, the #3 team, Flaggin’ Ball Z played the #2 team, No Punt Intended, for the coveted Chicago Sport and Social Club long-sleeve champ shirts to forever capture their moment of glory.  With a final score of 39-20, Flaggin’ Ball Z hope to keep their momentum going as they advance in playoffs.   Flaggin’ Ball Z are the highest-scoring team in the league for the season, averaging 66.8 points per game.  The Defense for Flaggin’ Ball Z did enough.  For No Punt Intended, QB Justin hit Ryan Hooper for two touchdowns and ran in one on his own. Congratulations to Flaggin’ Ball Z on a great season and their championship win!  We hope to see this squad return to defend their title.  Being one of the top two teams, No Punt Intended was optimistic heading into the championship match, so this loss is a tough one.  But they definitely have what it takes to win and we expect to see them doing well again next season.
