NCSA (5-4) vs. AECOM United (4-3-1) – Wednesday, August 7, 2019

In this Quarter-Finals game, the #8 seed, AECOM United, took on the #9 seed, NCSA.  AECOM United has been eliminated following this playoff loss. This was one of two games for NCSA this week. Impressively, they won both matches and increased their total goals scored to 11. The two MVPs in this match were the goalkeeper for NCSA, Margo Camp, who had a shutout, and Ben Berube who scored all the goals in the game. Grass Kickers (4-5-1) vs. PWSoccer (3-5) – Wednesday, August 7, 2019

In this Quarter-Finals game, the #11 seed, Grass Kickers, took on the #12 seed, PWSoccer. PWSoccer were unable to get rolling on offense in this one, but they’ve had 10 overall goals this season. This was one of two games for Grass Kickers this week. This was the better played match, which helped them lock in their #11 rank in the standings table. Patrick Lass is the goalkeeper credited with the shutout for Grass Kickers. Helping on the offense, Matt Stern was among those who scored in this playoff win for Grass Kickers.  PWSoccer was knocked out of the playoffs following this loss.  Grass Kickers had another game, check out below to see how they did!

Suck My Kick (7-1-1) vs. Grass Kickers (4-5-1) – Wednesday, August 7, 2019

The #3 seed, Suck My Kick, matched up against the #11 seed, Grass Kickers in this Quarter-Finals game.  Grass Kickers had two games this week. This was the tougher match of the two, and they now sit in 11th place in the standings.  Grass Kickers has been eliminated and will have to wait til next year for a shot at the championship. This was one of two games for Suck My Kick. Both matches were victories giving them a 3-game winning streak. Jack is the goalkeeper credited with the shutout for Suck My Kick. Helping on the offense, Erin Watkins was among those who scored in this playoff win for Suck My Kick. Suck My Kick moved onto the semifinals following the win, see below how they did!

NCSA (5-4) vs. Grass Fairies (5-3) – Wednesday, August 7, 2019

They weren’t the favored team, but NCSA, the #9 seed upset the #4 seed, Grass Fairies, in this Quarter-Finals games. This week, NCSA was fired up for a double header. Impressively, they won both matches helping to boost them to the #9 rank in the standings. Matt was among those who scored in this playoff win for NCSA, putting two shots past the Grass Fairies goalkeeper, Dj . In spite of losing, Grass Fairies has been doing great on offense this season, with a total of 24 goals. Rajat Gupta scored the only goal for Grass Fairies to get their team on the board. Next up for NCSA is a semifinal matchup, check it out below! Grass Fairies was knocked out of playoff contention following this loss.

LPSE (9-0) vs. NCSA (5-4) – Wednesday, August 7, 2019

The #4 seed, NCSA, forfeited to the #1 seed, LPSE. LPSE had a double header this week. Both matches were victories helping to boost them to the #1 rank in the standings.  NCSA was eliminated following the forfeit.  LPSE moved onto the championship follow their win, see below how they did!

Puppy Luv (9-1) vs. Suck My Kick (7-1-1) – Wednesday, August 7, 2019

It was an exciting Semi-Finals matches, in which the #2 seed, Puppy Luv, squeaked by with a 1-point win against the #3 seed, Suck My Kick. This was one of two games for Puppy Luv. They won both matches helping to boost them to the #2 rank in the standings. Lauren Schillinger was among those who scored in this playoff win for Puppy Luv, putting one shot past the Suck My Kick goalkeeper, Jack. Next up for Puppy Luv is a championship matchup, check it out below! This was one of two games for Suck My Kick this week. They lost both matches putting them at a 3-game losing streak. Erin Watkins scored the only goal for Suck My Kick to get their team on the board.  Suck My Kick was eliminated following the loss and will have to wait to next season for another shot at the championship.

Puppy Luv (9-1) vs. LPSE (9-0) – Wednesday, August 7, 2019

It was a Championship Game written for the movies. Could the #2 seeded team, Puppy Luv outplay the #1 seeded team, LPSE? In this game, yes they could! LPSE had a double header. Both matches were losses and increased their total goal differential to 129. Puppy Luv had a double header. Both matches were victories helping to boost them to the #2 rank in the standings. Vern was among those who scored in this playoff win for Puppy Luv. LPSE came so close to the championship title. They’re not an easy team to beat and looking ahead to next season, they are definitely a team that will be at the top of the standings table.  Congratulations to Puppy Luv on a great season and their championship win! We hope to see this squad return to defend their title.
