Suck My Kick (5-1-1) vs. Uptake United (2-4) – Wednesday, July 24, 2019

As they did earlier in the year, Suck My Kick won the rematch between these two groups. This game finished with a final score of 3-0. It just wasn’t their season as Uptake United finished as the 12th place seed. They’ll face Monty’s Maniac in the first round of the playoffs.  Suck My Kick are playing an incredible offensive season. They’re averaging 4 goals per game. Steven Pruim scored two goals while David Shechtman scored the other goal. The club’s goalie, Jack, got a shutout in this one. Suck My Kick finished the regular season in 3rd place, and they will play CRA in the second playoff round.

AECOM United (4-1-1) vs. Genslerites (0-5-1) – Wednesday, July 24, 2019

The #18 seed, Genslerites, forfeited to the #4 seed, AECOM United. Genslerites forfeit this week’s match-up. AECOM United continued their winning streak this week and are officially on fire. A season of losses and just one tie means Genslerites finished as the 18th place seed. They’ll face Grass Fairies in the second round of playoffs.   AECOM United finished the regular season in 4th place, and they will play NCSA in the second round of playoffs. They have a bye next week and will play the following week.

Puppy Luv (5-1) vs. 0-8 but still having fun (2-5) – Wednesday, July 24, 2019

Earning the same result as they did earlier this season, Puppy Luv won the rematch between these two groups. This game finished with a final score of 2-0. Puppy Luv are heating up with two wins in a row. Ray  and Josh both scored one goal. The defenders are the unsung heroes of this match for helping Nnaduzie earn a clean sheet. It just wasn’t their season as 0-8 but still having fun finished as the 15th place seed. They’ll face Crowe and play in the first round of playoffs. Puppy Luv finished the regular season in 2nd place, and they will play the winner of Crowe and 0-8 but still having fun. They have a bye next week and will play the following week.

LPSE (6-0) vs. INDY Team #5 (3-2-1) – Wednesday, July 24, 2019

Grabbing the same result as they did earlier in the year, LPSE won the rematch between these two groups. This game finished with a final score of 2-0. They’re on fire. To steer the squad’s attack, Colin Gainer scored all two goals.  Shout-out to goalie, Diego Ceniseroz, for the shutout! LPSE finished the regular season in 1st place, and they will play the winner of Monty’s Maniacs and Uptake United. They have a bye next week and will play the following week. INDY Team #5 were unable to get rolling in terms of scoring in this one, but they’ve had 11 overall goals this season. This loss for INDY Team #5 pushes them down to the #7 seed. They’ll face bswift. 

Man Chest Hair United (4-1-2) vs. Grass Kickers (2-4-1) – Wednesday, July 24, 2019

In a nail-biter for movement in the standings table at the end of the season, Man Chest Hair United and Grass Kickers finished with a draw of 2-2 to earn just 1 point each. This is Grass Kickers’s first tie this season and they’re currently sitting in 11th place in the standings. In the tie, Jacquline put in one goal for Grass Kickers.  Next up for Grass Kickers is a coveted bye week. They’ve met even competition the past two weeks and Man Chest Hair United have a streak of 2 tie games. Liam Wolfram kicked one goal to guide the club’s offense. Man Chest Hair United finished the regular season in 5th place, and they will play the winner of the They have a bye next week and will play the following week.

Grass Fairies (4-2) vs. Monty’s Maniacs (1-4-1) – Wednesday, July 24, 2019

Grabbing the same result as they did earlier in the year, Grass Fairies won the rematch between these two clubs. This game finished with a final score of 2-0. Monty’s Maniacs didn’t have their best stuff in this one, and failed to make it onto the scoreboard. It was a rough regular season for Monty’s Maniacs, who finished as the 16th place seed. They’ll face the Uptake United.  This is the second week in a row Grass Fairies took home the win. Rajat Gupta and Ryan both scored one goal. The club’s goalie, Dj, played very well in the shutout. Grass Fairies finished the regular season in 6th place, and they will play Genslerites. They have a bye next week and will play the following week.

CRA (1-5) vs. Crowe (2-4) – Wednesday, July 24, 2019

CRA had an exciting underdog win and kept Crowe from making upward movement on the standings table going into playoffs with a final score of 1-0.This victory for the CRA came as a bit of a surprise considering it’s more than halfway through the season and they have only scored less than a handful goals. Gustavo Grau Bolivar prevented the team’s loss by scoring their only goal. Shout-out to goalie, Annie Gerspach, for the shutout! CRA finished the regular season in 17th place, and they will play Suck My Kick in the second round of the playoffs. They have a bye next week and will play the following week. Crowe struggled to get it going on offense in this one, and came short of making it onto the scoreboard. It was a rough regular season for Crowe, who finished as the 12th place seed. They’ll face 0-8 but still having fun.
