Chicago Touch and Friends (1-0) vs. 2 Goals 1 Cup (0-1) – Tuesday, April 16, 2019

Chicago Touch and Friends shut out 2 Goals 1 Cup with a final score of just 1-0.  Brendan Maher scored the only goal in the match to help his team earn the victory.  For Chicago Touch and Friends, each contest is a crucial game to get cruisin as the season gets going.  Next up is a throwdown against Yeoville (1-0-0).  Even with a loss, 2 Goals 1 Cup have a significant amount of opportunities to practice their offensive skills before play-offs.  As for 2 Goals 1 Cup they will have a contest against Daddy FC (0-0-1) as they attempt to come back from this one.

 

Chubby Alonsos (0-0-1) vs. Daddy FC (0-0-1) – Tuesday, April 16, 2019

Chubby Alonsos and Daddy FC were really evenly matched in this contest and finished tied up at 3-3. This is Daddy FC’s first tie this season and it was their best offensive performance yet.  Femi Aboloye scored two goals while Ariel Godinez added one goal for Chubby Alonsos.  John Kotsiantos was the star player for Daddy FC this week scoring a hat trick for them.  Exiting week 1, Chubby Alonsos looks ahead to INDY Team #6 (1-0-0) who are next on the calendar.  For Daddy FC next up is 2 Goals 1 Cup (0-1-0).

 

INDY Team #6 (1-0) vs. FC Hiscox (0-1) – Tuesday, April 16, 2019

INDY Team #6 put on a show on both sides of the pitch against FC Hiscox with a final score of 2-0.  It’s only the first week, and FC Hiscox has significant amounts of time to go back to the drawing board on the offensive side of the ball.  Lynn Lazzeretti and Jennie Skinner each scored one goal in the shutout win.  Exiting week 1, INDY Team #6 will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. Chubby Alonsos (0-0-1) are next on the calendar for INDY Team #6.   For FC Hiscox next up is a date with JLL Soccer (0-1-0) as they strive to get to the win column.

 

Soccer Scrubs (1-0) vs. JLL Soccer (0-1) – Tuesday, April 16, 2019

Soccer Scrubs put on a show on both sides of the pitch against JLL Soccer with a final score of 3-0. Despite the loss, JLL Soccer have plenty of games to practice their offensive skills before play-offs.  As for JLL Soccer next on the docket is FC Hiscox (0-1-0) as they strive to bounce back.  Daniel Jalandoon, Nikitas Papageorgiu, and Lauren Neil each tallied a goal in the victory.  Soccer Scrubs will look to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2. This week Soccer Scrubs will line-up against Velvet Taquitos (0-1-0).

 

Yeoville (1-0) vs. Velvet Taquitos (0-1) – Tuesday, April 16, 2019

Yeoville beat Velvet Taquitos 4-1 in this game.  The season is still young, and Velvet Taquitos has plenty of time to get better on offense.  Jessica scored the only goal for Velvet Taquitos to save them from a shutout.  Yeoville had a very dominating performance on the offensive end.  Katie Hopkins, Ernesto Fernandez, Travis, and Michael Thein each scored a goal in this victory.  As for Velvet Taquitos they’ll move on to a pairing with Soccer Scrubs (1-0-0) as they strive to come back from this one.   For Yeoville, every game is a critical game to get in a groove. Chicago Touch and Friends (1-0-0) are next on the docket for Yeoville.
